Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"By clearly defining process owners, customers can not only better achieve their goals but are always accountable to partners and audits.""One of the most valuable things about process intelligence is that it allows you to mine data over a long period of time, such as one or two years. This gives us a deep understanding of how your processes actually work.""The backend is great.""I like the tool's ability to visualize the entire process flow, how the process flow flows, and what deviations happen from the process flow. It also helps to figure out the process bottlenecks.""The most valuable feature is the integration model.""Everything is valuable. If you're looking at the process documentation feature, it's really easy to use. We have official training from Signavio trainers, but sometimes I do the training myself very shortly for our colleagues. In less than one or two hours, they are already able to model the business process themselves. The language is really easy. The user interface is really easy. If you're talking about process simulation, we have customers and clients internally who are using it a lot, because they are from logistics or operations. They have numbers and KPIs behind the process. They know their numbers, so they have to see how they can improve a given business processes with a change in the task sequence or a change in the numbers of KPIs. If you're talking about the process mining, it is integrated into the whole solution.""The product helps us build solid business use cases.""It's easy to set up."

"The solution is scalable and user-friendly.""Process mapping tool is most valuable tool.""The reporting features of ProcessGold are great.""UiPath Process Mining is scalable.""The personal learning tools are good.""The best feature of UiPath Process Mining, compared to a process discovery tool or mining tool I forgot the name of, is that UiPath Process Mining supplies more details about your current workflow and how it influences the business, including what's the delay or roadblock. The other tool doesn't give you detailed information, so UiPath Process Mining has a significant advantage.""Once you understand the flow, using Process Mining to streamline processes is easy. It has drag-and-drop abilities that make it very easy to operate.""The solution has some quality and time assurances to improve our business."

Cons
"I would like to see a better version of the solution.""The product doesn't allow me to focus on a particular value stream and how the value stream performs.""SAP has to figure out a better way to price it. Their licensing structure isn't ideal as it's based on data; therefore, it's hard to estimate client costs.""There could be more standard interfaces for importing data from the various systems in the process landscape.""When it comes to Signavio, as I've worked on Celonis, I've observed two things in Celonis and Signavio. In Celonis, using the process mining tool, we can implement automation skills. So we can take actions to improve the process as well. That is one thing.""SAP Signavio Process Intelligence slows down when you feed a lot of data. It needs to improve its processing ability. The tool should also incorporate AI features that can automate things. Many of the competitors have this feature.""Interface could be more user friendly.""With the new release, I have some problems. Actually with Signavio, many of the processes are not viewable for unclear reasons. The product itself is reachable most of the time, but some processes are not there. Some pages do not loading at times."

More SAP Signavio Process Intelligence Cons →

"Has a very limited way of collecting process data.""The number of file formats that can be uploaded should be increased.""I think they need to look at pricing. Now in the market, there are other process mining applications that are far cheaper.""We found that the flow chart is not very clear for some of the complex processes.""I would like for user onboarding/onboarding of enterprise clients to be simplified in the next release.""Document Understanding can read up to a certain amount of accuracy. While I understand that they have already started working to improve that accuracy right now, I think the accuracy is still only around 85-90%. I would call that our main problem with UiPath currently.""The product could diversify into creating apps.""The product could be better integrated with simulations."

    Reviews from Real Users

Below are some reviews and helpful feedback written by UiPath Process Mining users.

PeerSpot user Nilesh P., Associate Director - Cloud Architect at a computer software company, says, “It's easy to develop, maintain, and manage, and it helps in task mining and process mining.” He adds, "With UiPath in place, we are moving away from training people on the core applications, which are pretty complex. We've built a headless frontend, so it's really easy for anybody to join our company and be productive."

A Hyperautomation Architect at an insurance company mentions, “My shortlist of valuable features includes all the different types of analysis. For example, you can do a root cause analysis. In other words, if you have a process that has many different scenarios, you can identify where the problem is. You can also identify bottlenecks with root cause analysis. You do this by looking at the time that has been spent in specific stages or steps within the processes being performed. Another great feature is the ability to see processes at a higher level and take in the whole picture. If a process has too many variances — say there are 20 different ways of doing the task — you can identify which process is the one where that happens more often. This will prompt you to focus on that process for any possible ways to automate it and simplify the complexity.”

Karthikeyan M., Chief Sales & Marketing Officer - RPA evangelist at AQM Technologies, says, "For us, the most important feature of UiPath Process Mining is something called Document Understanding. We have found it to be extremely valuable, given that the current situation we have right now is that it's not just pure automation of manual and repetitive tasks. What we're doing is more along the lines of what you could call "intelligent" automation. Document Understanding plays a great role in this type of process automation because it helps us in automating the reading of documents better and, therefore, helps to automate intelligence for our customers."
