We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Omada's user interface is elegant and easy to work with. I like Omada's ability to automatically generate accounts for new hires and allow them access to all required systems by established policies. Around 80 percent of workers can start working immediately on their first day without requesting further access.""You can make resources. You can import them from Azure or Active Directory and put them in an application. For example, if there is an application that uses a lot of Active Directory groups, you can make the groups available for people. If they need to access that application, you can tell them the resource groups you have for that application. People can do everything by themselves. They do not need anybody else. They can just go to the Omada portal, and they can do it all by themselves. That is terrific.""The support for the validity of the resources is valuable. The tool allows resource assignments within a validity period so that the managers do not have to remember to revoke the access once the work is done.""The most valuable feature of Omada is its API connectivity, which allows seamless integration with various services like SAP, GRC, and Microsoft licenses.""The most valuable aspect of the product is that it is Microsoft-based and it supports all Microsoft technology.""The most valuable feature for us is the ability to set up connectors to various IT systems and offer a wide range of supported connectors.""The teams we work with at Omada provide great insights and support. Overall, it has been a pleasure working with them. That's the part we value the most.""I'm not using Omada, but the interface is easy to use and gives you a solid overview of your identities."

"In terms of what I found most valuable in One Identity Manager, it's the only product where the workflow and the catalog can be configured on roles or by business people. You don't need to know the technology at all to configure that, so this is the product's biggest advantage as well as its strongest feature. One Identity Manager is also business-oriented and IAM administrator-oriented.""The solution is a typical, conventional IGA but the tool itself offers many options for customization.""One Identity Manager is flexible and offers numerous connectors that enable us to serve as the core component of the system, as well as to construct our own connectors using the API.""This solution is better on the IT personnel, because now they spend less (or almost no time) managing user rights.""It's very easy to roll out.""It is easy to extend the product for custom purposes.""In terms of the most valuable feature of One Identity Manager, it's not like one feature is useful without the other features. It's not a tool, but it's more an overall integrated solution that is helpful and not specifically one solution on its own. The best points of One Identity Manager would be its process orchestration and synchronization manager.""One of the valuable features is that it is relatively organized. I definitely appreciate that aspect. It is also relatively simple to use with a very easy flow to the GUI. The user interface is really top-notch."

"The solution is one of the main security products you need to control access and have visibility into what's happening in your organization. It helps with managing access to applications, ensuring governance, and obtaining certifications.""IdentityIQ's best features are the hassle-free user experience and security.""Has a great certification module with intuitive options.""The Certification and Provisioning features are most valuable.""It is simple and easy to implement.""It offers a single source of truth. Everything can be handled from one tier.""One of the most valuable aspects of SailPoint is its open integration interface.""The solution is very good at the management of the identity lifecycle."

Cons
"The Omada support response time has room for improvement.""The architecture of the entire system should also be less complex. The way they process the data is complex.""I am not working with the product, but they have this BI tool for role-based mining, and I think that should be included in the core product rather than an add-on.""Omada's performance could be better because we had some latency issues. Still, it's difficult to say how much of that is due to Omada versus the resources used by our other vendors in our on-prem environment. Considering the resources we have invested into making it run well, it's slightly slower than we would expect.""Functionality and usability could be improved.""The comprehensiveness of Omada's out-of-the-box connectors for the applications we use could be better. We are getting a new HR system called Cornerstone for which they do not have an out-of-the-box connector, so we have to take the REST connector and play around with it.""The web GUI can be improved.""In our organization, all the data is event-driven, which means that if an attribute is changed in the source system, it can be updated within a few seconds in all end-user systems. There is room for improvement in Omada regarding that. Omada is still batch-based for some processes, so sometimes it can take an hour or even four hours before the execution is run and the update is sent."

More Omada Identity Cons →

"There are too many different user interfaces. For example, one is the designer and another is the manager. There's also a web interface and an object browser. It would be helpful to consolidate all of those into a single administrator portal.""It would be nice to have more functionality in terms of connecting SAP systems, provisioning user accounts through SAP systems, and provisioning additional attributes.""A room for improvement in One Identity Manager is its analytics. Though it's getting better from version to version, the analytics feature still needs improvement. I would appreciate more analytical features in the next release of One Identity Manager, so I can do a better analysis. Another vendor, for example, has a self-certification system where you can send people, then create a type of profile or screen for each person, and the person can see his entitlement and the risks behind that entitlement, so then the person makes a decision on whether he wants to keep or let go of it, and that's an out-of-the-box feature that would be good to see in One Identity Manager. Another feature I'd like to see in One Identity Manager that would be very interesting is integration with SIEM or any log collection product for both access and usage. For example, I'd be able to see that I have access to a particular application and also get information on how many times I've accessed it in the last year, last few months, etc. It's a feature that would be great to have in One Identity Manager.""It should be able to give a client version of the product, rather than just a web-portal.""The initial setup was complex. It is an extremely complicated thing to replace an entire self-built solution.""The solution should come up with a lighter version so people can buy different versions.""The web portal can be a bit muggy at times. This is one of the key complaints from our customers.""Some features aren't supported by the technical support. It is based on your own risk, which I can accept, but I would be happier if they would provide me some additional information about them anyway, e.g., deleting tables or columns."

More One Identity Manager Cons →

"The cost of this solution is high. The technical assistance center could be improved. They're very good, but considering the intricacies of the solution, they can further improve.""We faced some issues while integrating the solution with a third-party tool.""It allowed to implement the automated processes when a new employee is hired. It allows to have a main central process for new hires.""I would like to see more Cloud management from this product.""SailPoint IdentityIQ has a primitive AI engine.""One needs to understand that SailPoint is into full-fledged IAM practice with a long-term vision, and customers will get a quick ROI with best practices implementation.""I think that the onboarding framework could be improved.""The UI needs to be more user friendly. More concentration on historical policy violations would be great. In terms of new features, I would like to see artificial intelligence and machine language added."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The pricing is too high for SMBs."
  • "Omada continues to be very competitive on pricing, especially on the Omada cloud product."
  • "The initial total cost of ownership to implement Omada Identity is not small. The TCO for the implementation is as high as any other solution. However, the cost of maintaining the solution is at par or lower than competitors, including adding more features or maintaining the system after the initial deployment or installation to make sure that they are available for users to use or extending the functionalities of those activities. Those maintenance costs are lower than other vendors, but the initial cost of getting the system installed is still high."
  • "It is licensed per managed user per year."
  • "There were a lot of administrator, partner, and supplier accounts for people who were no longer working for us but still in the system. So, we reduced the number of users no longer with the company, which saved us some money on licensing."
  • "It's a fair price for the on-premises system. Compared with what we had before, it's much cheaper and we get all the modules in one. We tried to go with the cloud, but it was far too expensive."
  • "From an on-prem point of view, the cost is quite transparent and reasonable. The direct cost is primarily for licenses and maintenance on licenses."
  • "My client deals directly with the Omada Identity team in terms of licensing. I never look at pricing, so I'm not aware of how much the solution costs, but it's worth the money. Often, when you begin to use Omada Identity and it takes a while to set up, it'll be irreversible, and you'd depend on and focus more on the functionality of the solution, rather than its price tag."

  • "Start with an operations team that is motivated to learn a lot in a short period of time. The longer you wait, the more expensive it will be to get the right level of expertise in this area."
  • "There are old processes that are really great for some people and look like pieces of artwork. However, the maintenance of them is really expensive."
  • "The solution is flexible, in general. You can define the parts of the solution that you want to use, and it won't affect the price."
  • "We have the premium support and are very satisfied. They are always answer our questions very quickly. For the moment, we are very satisfied, but I think it's because we are paying for the premium support."
  • "It helps us save on licenses for applications because we are following the account lifecycle, as well as account reactivation."
  • "We are paying for premium support, which is expensive. However, we do receive very good, fast support."
  • "It needs flexibility in the licensing or packaging, because you buy the entire package at once, and sometimes the customers are a bit overwhelmed with whatever they get. I would like if they could cut the licensing or packaging into somewhat smaller things."
  • "It has helped to reduce customer costs."
  • More One Identity Manager Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "SailPoint IIQ is the best of best. That is reflected in the pricing of the solution. The pricing is based on the number of identities."
  • "They are expensive."
  • "The licensing fees are on a yearly basis."
  • "SailPoint is higher in price as compared to Saviynt. The initial cost of SailPoint is very high. There are additional costs to the standard licensing fees."
  • "Its price is okay. It provides good value for money. It is subscription-based. You can go for a one-year or three-year subscription."
  • "The price of the solution could improve, it is not priced well for smaller businesses to afford."
  • "It is a costly solution. Its cost, for sure, should be reduced."
  • "You do pay one price for the license but that price depends on what you choose to include as far as the optional modules go."
