Pros
"I'm using Apache Guacamole as a gateway."

More Apache Guacamole Pros →

"The installation and maintenance are good.""There are many features that I like, but the stability over the Internet is exceptional. Even if there's bandwidth fluctuation or network jitter, it performs well, offering a seamless experience to end-users without noticeable disruptions.""The shadow feature is extraordinary and helps a lot when supporting remote users.""Instead of pointing to any single feature, I would say the most valuable aspect of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops is the overall product itself. Virtualized apps and desktops, in theory and in practice, are very helpful to users.""Centralization and security are the most valuable features of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.""The most valuable feature has to be the non-persistent desktop. If one of my users messes something up and blows away their desktop, it goes back to what it was originally, before they had an issue.""XenDesktop has helped our users to work remotely with a better user experience.""Citrix is one of the companies that is delivering virtual apps and desktops in a big way. They are mature enough to understand the level of stability required and deliver it."

Cons
"The solution's USB redirection could be improved."

More Apache Guacamole Cons →

"Pricing and technical support need improvement.""The product advances really fast. For some customers, we need better backwards compatibility.""Templating the deployment process could use improvement. When you start, there are a large number of details that are quite client-specific, although they do share common themes. To get somebody up and running in a day is very difficult to do. They should streamline by use case.""I have to re-enter my user password when I am not using the tool for some time around ten minutes. I want to also improve the need to download other Citrix apps.""There is room for improvement because it has a lot of dependency on Active Directory and other things. If they could come up with something similar and native, a complete solution portfolio would help.""Citrix has to support all of the hypervisors including KVM and OpenStack KVM.""I would like to see simplification in the management of the on-prem infrastructure component of Citrix DaaS, particularly in the studio tool used to manage the DaaS infrastructure.""If Citrix can develop something which can have more reach towards the backend infrastructure, other components of the Citrix environment, that would be ideal."
