"You can identify resources by roles."
"Visibility to where we are on projects. It tells someone where we are; if we're in trouble or not."
"it creates visibility across our whole organization. People that were often left in the dark wondering what was happening with projects. Now have an easy solution to see all the information they want to see across the whole portfolio."
"Within the SaaS environment (since CA is supporting it), it has been extremely stable and reliable."
"The reporting tools are superior to what was there before, which was someone crunching through an Excel spreadsheet. I've been able to do status reports through the projects, which has given visibility to my manager, and that's an improvement."
"The performance is really good."
"The most useful feature for me as an implementer of Broadcom Clarity PPM is its extensibility. The tool is pretty extensible, and I haven't had any issues with it in terms of it getting used for multiple scenarios and for multiple clients where there's a need for high customization. Broadcom Clarity PPM is a very, very customizable tool, so you can pretty much implement any business process on it with no issues."
"The solution has good reporting and is very user-friendly."
"We have found the solution to be stable."
"JIRA Portfolio has many wonderful features."
"Jira's Structure, agile, and Kanban boards are helpful. I also like JQuery, which allows you to fetch the relevant set of data. We use JQuery, JQL, and the Structure board a lot. Kanban boards help us monitor daily tasks, and we review the progress using the burndown charts."
"The dashboard is the most valuable feature. The user experience is very good, it's easy to use."
"I think the solution's most important and valuable feature is its ability to track the issues."
"The integration is very good. We've more or less integrated with everything including reporting and registering."
"Has good analysis integration capabilities."
"One of the major pain points for me when it comes to Broadcom Clarity PPM is the new UI. The new UI is very good in terms of functionality and the drag and draw features, but it's not very responsive. When I say that it's not very responsive, what I mean is that sometimes, the tool is not very user-friendly. For example, a user saves a value on the form, but the tool doesn't give any indication to the user that the value has been saved. Some users are moving from the classic UI to the new UI, and end up getting confused because on the classic UI, when you click "Save", it'll save the information and you'll get an indication that it was saved. With the new UI, it auto saves the information, but it doesn't give an indication in the form of a popup box that "this form has been saved", or any type of message indicating that the information was successfully saved. It's been confusing for users who move to the new UI because of that. The users don't understand when the values are being saved or not being saved, even if there's an auto-save feature in the new UI."
"Whenever that second instance of Clarity came about, it was overwhelming even to people who were accustomed to working with program management tools."
"Reporting is not good as they keep on changing reporting environment."
"In the future, I would like to see integrated Agile features and better integration with Agile tools."
"Broadcom Clarity PPM should improve how the reports are being generated and contracts management."
"I am going to be maintaining both new UX screens, which the blueprints make look like it is going to be really easy, but we would still have to be maintaining new UX screens as well as classic views for those functionalities that are not yet available in the new UX."
"Financials are okay, but there's a lot of room for improvement in financials.Financial plans, if those could be made so that you're not always grouping your financial data by predefined attributes, that would be helpful for us."
"They won't let me put a button on the UI."
"Converting a task into an epic is very troublesome."
"The HR aspect of the solution could be improved."
"It would be really nice if the solution provided a heads-up every time they enhance something or add new features."
"The interface JIRA Portfolio could improve."
"The reporting and dashboard capabilities have room for improvement."
"In the next release, Portfolio should include more metrics and develop their portfolio planning."
"Our major team does not control or manage JIRA server well since sometimes there is trouble using the solution, which is a problem. The solution's speed needs to be improved."
"The solution’s pricing could be reduced."
