Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable features are that it's lightweight, can be embedded in existing Java code, and keeps track of the workflow state and the instances that we need.""It has been a stable solution so far since it meets our needs, including data modeling, which we need to do before we embark on analyzing and optimizing the business processes.""I like everything about the entire BPM that comes with the BPM suite.""The most valuable features are the management of internal processes, the ability to execute from design and the model for internal processes, the ability to make processes visible, and the ability to have information about the current state of each instance.""Having knowledge of the BPM and monitoring process has proven to be very beneficial, as I am currently engaged in documenting processes for Clientele.""The most valuable feature is the scheduling.""We are using the BPMN engine of Camunda; we are not using the user interface. We are using just the engine, the back end of this. For us, it is working quite well.""The solution is useful for small projects."

Cons
"Lacking in forms visualization.""Collaborations and process documentation in Camunda Platform are areas with shortcomings that need improvement.""While it's very scalable, it would be great if auto-scaling capabilities were added to it... one area that really could help out would be to have dynamic resizing of the cluster. Right now, you have to do capacity planning.""When building interfaces, there are limited tools to work with, especially when dealing with different types of tasks, such as user tasks and system tasks.""As we experienced some difficulties in the beginning, deployment took almost a month.""The user interface needs improvement. It should be more tailored to the end-user and offer a better user experience design over the user interface itself.""Without a proper frontend, the business cannot effectively use the platform.""There should be a multi-tenant solution for the platform where it supports multiple organizations on one platform instead of having to spin up multiple clusters for each organization. There should be an easy way to integrate different departments into one platform without having to operate multiple platforms. The operations should be easier with the enterprise solution. It should not create more overhead for the operations people."
