Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Being able to manage the devices remotely is most valuable. We can push security requirements through Microsoft Intune.""It is a very helpful solution.""Intune provides full endpoint visibility and IT control across device platforms. You can individualize it for your company with the Intune Company Portal app.""There are so many features, but Windows Autopilot is one of the features that are very valuable for most customers.""It's very informative when there is an error. It allows us to backtrace where the error is and resolve that ourselves. It's a bit of a Swiss Army penknife. We find that it fixes most issues.""The ability to block and erase remote devices is valuable to us, especially when those devices are lost.""The solution is stable.""The ability to manage devices with different sets of policies is most valuable."

"The product is capable of acting in many different ways to help secure architecture.""We have seen improvements in compliance management on the devices.""The MAM applications of the product are great.""ShareFile, in particular, is valuable with its ease of sharing, and the best category security that is in the hands of users.""One key feature is secure application delivery, which enables the secure delivery of mobile and web applications to end-user devices. This ensures data protection and compliance with corporate policies.""A valuable feature of Citrix Endpoint Management is that it's stable. The stability is not a challenge among the move to the cloud."

"We've found the solution to be easy to use.""It is a stable solution. I would rate the stability a ten out of ten.""It's a tool that can be managed in various departments.""I found the initial setup to be easy.""AirWatch has one of the best User Interfaces and it's quite easy to figure out where particular items are within the menu system.""The most valuable feature of this solution is the multi-platform support.""The most valuable feature of VMware Workspace ONE is it provides the ability to find out the location of devices and manage end-point solutions when they are deployed, and keep them secure.""I would rate the stability as eight out of ten."

Cons
"Regarding mobile devices, Intune is good, but there are other services that I would say are ahead of Intune from an administration and reporting point of view.""Some enrollment features could be improved.""Microsoft Intune has a latency response time issue. The latency has room for improvement.""There is improvement needed in integrating with the installed Office solutions versions, such as Office 2019. The Office 365 integrates without a problem.""The installation could be improved to be simplified.""There should be more support for macOS. Even though macOS is supported by Intune and Microsoft is working very hard to get more features into Intune to manage macOS, that's one thing they can give a lot more attention to.""There is no catalog for mobile access management (MAM) security.""Sometimes, updating a client policy is very difficult. This needs to be improved."

More Microsoft Intune Cons →

"Citrix needs to improve the architecture. They also need to strengthen the application integration. They keep referring to some things to be required as security, and they keep selling the next level and on-premise separately. They should give the customer the opportunity to decide whether they want to use the next level on-premise or on-cloud, but they should not charge additional fees if the customer wants to deploy the next level on-premise because the customer is already being charged as the end user. They should allow next level on-premise optimization without any additional charges.""Support for inventory management of Apple devices should be added.""Citrix often depends on other services like backend data centers, network security, and application firewalls. Issues in these areas can be misinterpreted as Citrix issues by users.""Requires integrating with ABM before enabling some of the features.""The tool’s battery usage was high."

More Citrix Endpoint Management Cons →

"Security aspects such as data loss prevention could be improved.""Sometimes, we have challenges with remote patching and remote version upgrades.""The setup was very difficult. It was not as easy as I had expected.""I would like to see some integration with native Microsoft products such as Anti-value.""The initial setup is a bit complex.""The SaaS environment is not very responsive at times, so the performance can be improved in that regard.""There could be ease of integration within the environment. I didn't have any issues when using it, but the integration part was a bit difficult for the other team.""The app installer is something that they should really change. It creates a lot of confusion for the user."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Consider the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite rather than choosing specific sub-components, e.g. only Microsoft Intune."

  • "The product is offered as part of a Microsoft standard bundle. The pricing can be competitive to Airwatch, and Maas360."
  • "For Microsoft 365 E5 clients, cost is not an issue as this product is one of the benefits."
  • "The price of Intune is included with the license for Office 365, so we don't have to pay anything extra for it."
  • More Microsoft Intune Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "The licensing costs vary depending on the customer and the licensing model. We have three main types: per-user, subscription, and concurrent user licenses, plus a user-based model."
  • More Citrix Endpoint Management Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "You should take out a dedicated license agreement of your MDM fleet and invest heavily in innovating in this space."
  • "In terms of pricing, this solution is definitely much more expensive compared to other solutions, like MobileIron or MaaS360 or any other product in the market. This solution is more expensive by 30 or 40 percent."
  • "I have no opinion about the pricing of the product."
  • "The pricing and licensing are affordable. They are not too high."
  • "I think the pricing of the product needs advisement. It would be great to bundle the VM products together. I think the actual box itself should be included in the license. At present, it is not paired with the mobile device."

    Reviews from Real Users

Microsoft Intune stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its ability to secure all devices under its management and the flexibility that the solution offers its users.

A computing services manager notes, "Its security is most valuable. It gives us a way to secure devices, not only those that are steady. We do have a few tablets and other devices, and it is a way for us to secure these devices and manage them. We know they're out there and what's their status. We can manage their life cycle and verify that they're updated properly."

The head of IT engineering at a financial services company writes, "The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types: we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager (MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company details on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."

XenMobile is a comprehensive solution to manage mobile apps, data and devices, available both on-premises and in the cloud. Users have single-click access to all of their apps from a unified corporate app store and IT can easily configure, secure and support mobile devices. With XenMobile technology, IT can meet their compliance and control needs while giving users the freedom to experience work and life their way.

    Reviews from Real Users

Below is some feedback from our PeerSpot users who are currently using the solution:

PeerSpot user Patrick B., Cybersecurity Architect at a tech services company, says, "Its UI is extremely easy to use whether you're an advanced user or a novice user. When I first opened it up and had to learn the product, I was easily a novice. By the end of the third month, I was digging into the backend of the system and using it as a highly advanced user to accomplish what I needed to accomplish, and I was able to do it through the UI mostly."

Roshan T., Partner Manager North America at a tech company, mentions how satisfied he is with the product, saying, "You can put all your applications on a mobile device, be it a phone or tablet. It is secure and easy to use. Because it is centrally managed, you don't have to do any configuration on the phone. I just got the phone and connected to the central applications. I just downloaded one thing and everything got rolled out. Email, calendar, and other things were deployed centrally. If you don't have AirWatch, you have to configure your phone manually. For example, you need to deploy and configure your email manually and then synchronize everything. It is much simpler when a mobile device is centrally managed."
