Pros
"Jira Align's most valuable feature is the view of strategic control reports for high-level directors.""In my previous experience, the Portfolio and Structure feature in Jira is really valuable because it assists with forecasting for projects.""The tool helps us with better tracking across various departments. Jira Align is highly valuable for organizations due to its flexibility. With my experience as an administrator, I can attest that it can be tailored to meet the diverse needs of any organization. It helps to eliminate the mess created by Excel spreadsheets.""Align enables the capture of all capabilities.""Jira Align's most valuable features are the roadmap, the program board, and the reports.""The technical support services are excellent.""Jira Align helps us manage communication and tasks for a variety of teams without overlap.""Jira Align is an easy-to-use and user-friendly solution."

"Scalability is good...The integration is quite good.""It offers good performance.""I am impressed with the solution’s stability.""The most valuable feature is the function of the ALM system.""Polarion ALM's integration is very good and easy to use.""It is a very stable solution.""You can see the work ticket and you can circulate that within the teams. Cons
"I would like to see Jira Align merge and integrate better with Jira as a whole. A lot of the time, the data from Jira won't map very well into Jira Align.""I've encountered limitations in using Jira Align for certain aspects, particularly in implementing OKRs. Jira Align's highest hierarchy is Epic, which may not always align perfectly for specific initiatives. Additionally, while Jira Align offers functionality for tracking OKRs and generating dashboards, I've found that it lacks in some areas. As a result, we've explored alternative solutions that better meet our needs in these areas. Its Kanban feature is also limited.""For future releases of Jira Align, I would suggest making workflows simpler and more user-friendly.""It would be helpful if they had something for capacity planning that was simpler to understand.""The solution needs to improve its pricing. It also needs to provide an integrated view of how other tasks are to be tracked. It would be also useful to see the integration of Confluence, Teams, and Slack into the product. I want to be able to communicate directly with others while using the product. I am also not sure if the integration of third-party alternate workflow tools like SAP would be possible.""There is no linkage between the Jira records and the overarching schedule. We maintain the overarching schedule in Microsoft Project, and there is no linkage back and forth with the Jira tasks. They are independent of each other.""The workflows are scalable from portfolio to individual level but can sometimes be complex to navigate.""One area where Jira Align could be improved is mobile accessibility."

More Jira Align Cons →

"The interface for this solution needs to be made more user-friendly to provide a better user experience.""The ease-of-use could be improved a little.""The most important thing for them to improve should be platform-independent features. They should also provide extensive pipelines and release pipelines that we can define and we can work on.""The configuration aspect of the solution is not easy. A person needs a lot of programming knowledge in order to successfully handle the job.""The planning and task management aspects of the solution were not that easy.""The solution can be improved by making it more user-friendly, and a server-based application rather than client based.""The tool needs to improve its planning. It also needs to add more integrations.""We use PTC Windchill, and Polarion ALM doesn't have native integration, so we had to purchase the connector to integrate it with Polarion ALM. We still haven't implemented it."

    Reviews from Real Users

Jira Align stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its program-level planning options and its reporting capabilities.

A project manager at a consultancy notes, “I like how things can be sorted out, and it shows the different objectives one can do. You could also create a team view that would allow your team to see work outcomes. Jira Align also helps with the reporting, because we can export data to Excel or another format.”
