We performed a comparison between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and NetSuite OneWorld based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two ERP solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Our data is much more manageable than before."
"I like Microsoft Dynamics' simplicity. The interface is excellent, and it's a highly mature product. You can hardly find any bugs in the product."
"The most valuable features of Business Central for me are its seamless integration with Power BI and the ability to create customized reports."
"The product is customizable so we can tune it according to our requirements."
"We like the manufacturing and case management modules."
"The solution's integration between Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online is really helpful."
"Microsoft Dynamics NAV is good for smaller-sized companies."
"We are getting more features after switching to Microsoft 365."
"Embedded business intelligence is a valuable feature. There is also no need to wait for extract functions, and each transaction is reflected in the system dashboards in real time."
"Utilizes best practices that are simple to implement."
"NetSuite OneWorld is a single instance that allows you to do different business functions, such as reporting, order-to-cash, design-build, and procure-to-pay. This feature is what's most valuable in the solution."
"Lowers costs, produces higher efficiencies, while maintaining a leaner staff and produces advanced financials."
"NetSuite is a great solution, fast to bring up and makes everyone's life easier."
"The solution is user-friendly and flexible."
"The solution has helped us save money by reducing the number of people needed for delivery, finance, and customer service. We now better understand our stock and purchases, and our sales team can access information without constantly communicating with delivery."
"We've set up Jira integration and used robotic process automation (RPA) to streamline various processes, like procurement and invoicing. Some processes still require manual approval, like supplier invoices, but we're simplifying those too. We're also exploring integrating with other tools like Power BI for better data analytics and reporting. Currently, our automation focuses on general tasks, not document understanding or anything complex like that."
"I think Microsoft should improve on the process of how the user decides on a business workflow. For example, there may be some kind of drag-and-drop interface that lets us decide for ourselves how to develop the business workflows that fit our purpose."
"The tool needs to work on reporting issues and user interface."
"I wouldn't say that Microsoft Dynamics is very scalable."
"The UI is not particularly user-friendly and the CRM could do with some enhancements."
"The reporting tool has room for improvement."
"The performance and virtual machine backup is not good with this solution and need improvements."
"As our company grew we had to switch from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to a solution that was suited for larger-sized companies."
"Since it's complex for a layperson user to understand the solution, it would be better if the solution provided some training resources."
"There is not a 20 year pedigree of pharma experience in the NetSuite channel. While there are many of these CMO Pharma companies rapidly moving to NetSuite, there are few consultants with true pharma experience. Those who have experience are stretched pretty thin."
"NetSuite OneWorld, the consolidation feature has been incredibly valuable. However, I cannot speak to the full range of features and functionalities offered by OneWorld as I am not familiar with all of them. I have utilized OneWorld primarily in the biotech industry, with a focus on operating expenses and financial reporting, such as capital contributions and foreign currency adjustments. I am confident, however, that OneWorld offers a robust module for reporting and consolidating revenue, though I have not had the opportunity to directly utilize this aspect of the software."
"Needs time entry for billable employees."
"Project collaboration through Dashboard Business Management and Relations Management is easy to perform, but it does need to be worked on as it is difficult for customers, suppliers, and internal users to use."
"I don’t like the SaaS models. Of course, they make the tool powerful enough to run a billion-dollar business. The tool is cheaper than SAP or Core."
"In NetSuite OneWorld, what needs improvement is the production planning functionality."
"Some entities are not available for multiple subsidiaries, which requires duplication."
"If you were to use standard costs, it doesn't handle standard costs well."
