"The main thing is that I feel safe. Because the processes that have been used to get a handle on the attackers are much better than other competitors"
"The solution was relatively easy to deploy."
"NGAV and EDR features are outstanding."
"This is stable and scalable."
"The features that I have found most valuable are the ability to customize it and to reduce its size. It lets you run in a very small window in terms of memory and resources on legacy cash registers."
"Fortinet has helped free up around 20 percent of our staff's time to help us out."
"Forensics is a valuable feature of Fortinet FortiEDR."
"Fortinet is very user-friendly for customers."
"Trend Micro Apex One is a seamless solution compared to others."
"It's a good solution, and they have something called Suite incorporating many, many engines like encryption, GLB, anti-virus."
"Apex One includes a built-in fine-grained DLP solution."
"I like Apex Central. We can manage all the Trend Micro products from one console."
"This is a very stable product and we plan to continue using it."
"Technical support is quite knowledgeable and helpful."
"It's reduced administrative overhead."
"Many features that this solution has, competitors lack. The feature I think is quite good is data loss prevention."
"The solution is extremely scalable."
"It has intelligent learning behind it and we have been very successful in preventing attacks."
"I like its reporting."
"The solution has a library where we can have multiple threat intels onboarded. We just have to subscribe to a particular site intel and they'll provide us with all of the truncated details so that we can create IOCs and alerts on the basis of those IOCs."
"The most valuable feature of the solution stems from the fact that it is one of the best EDR tools in the market."
"The whole purpose of the product, like application control, is very good, and also if you need to update some policies, it works well and instantly."
"The data analysis is the most valuable because of the whitelist database. It is different than standard IDS solutions."
"I found it very valuable as a whole. It is good at detecting anything and has kept us very safe. It is also very easy to use."
"We've encountered challenges during API deployment, occasionally resulting in unstable environments."
"Everything with Fortinet having to do with their cloud services. They need to invest more in their internal infrastructure that they are running in the cloud. One of the things I find with their cloud environment compared to others' is that they go cheap on the equipment. So it causes some performance degradation."
"The only minor concern is occasional interference with desired programs."
"The amount of usage, the number of details we get, or the number of options that can be tweaked is limited in comparison to that with other EDR solutions"
"Integration with Azure and SaaS provisioning tools could improve Fortinet FortiEDR."
"The EDR console should have more extensive reporting. You shouldn't need to purchase FortiAnalyzer. It should be included in the EDR part. The security adviser cloud platform could be improved with more options for exclusive or intensive rules for devices."
"FortiEDR could add a separate scanning dashboard. In incident management, we prefer to remove the endpoint system from the environment and scan the system. We typically use Symantec for that, but if we want to use FortiEDR for that, then we need a scanning tab to clarify things."
"They can include the automation for the realtime updates. We have a network infrastructure with remote sites. Whenever they send updates, they are not automated. We have to go into the console and push those updates. I wish it was more automated. The update file is currently around 31 MB. It could be smaller."
"Trend Micro Apex One should have a DLP (Data loss prevention) module."
"The solution could improve by making the interface less confusing, it needs to be simplified."
"The integration capabilities could be a bit better."
"Trend Micro Apex One could improve by providing signatureless detection, reducing the agent's needed system resources to increase performance, and enhance further the vulnerability assessment feature. These changes would be very helpful in the future."
"We cover many things, but there is something called ATP, advanced threat prevention. I think they need to invest in this technology."
"Could channel video more efficiently."
"We had some problems with Trend Micro Apex One doing the updates and patches. Some of the other vendor's support has said that Trend Micro Apex One receives database signatures updates too late."
"I would like to see behavior analysis capabilities included."
"There's some disparity between the on-premise and the cloud type of application."
"The solution needs expanded endpoint query tools."
"The directions for Splunk are spot on, but it is difficult to find anything on integration with AlienVault,"
"It would be a better solution if Carbon Black Cb Defense had an on-promise solution and a virus auto delete or quarantine."
"I haven't run into anything that needs improvement. The website interface can be a little bit better, but it's still good as compared to most others."
"This solution works well but needs lots of tuning and optimization."
"The endpoint machines need improvement."
"This solution could have greater granular control on how certain applications work."
