We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Essentially, Kofax TotalAgility as a whole is quite nice. As of now, we've only been able to use and explore its document classification and extraction capabilities. We haven't explored and used the case management capability yet, but the scan and capture capabilities we've been using heavily and those are quite good. Our solutions are mainly around those areas of Kofax TotalAgility. We haven't explored the product a lot, but the capabilities we've explored are good.""The tool is low code which saves you from a developer.""It is user-friendly and has good documentation. It's good for developing communication and has a lot of the APIs needed for this purpose. There aren't a lot of software options available from this time period; this is the only one from 2013 that has this concept of microservices.""What I find most valuable in Kofax TotalAgility is its OCR feature. I also find its workflow and business process management capabilities valuable. Kofax TotalAgility also has good integration with other solutions and has an API call feature.""Kofax TotalAgility is a single package. They provide you with OCR capabilities, BPM capabilities, and case manager features.""Its integration capabilities are valuable. It has low code/no code features. You have to do minimal coding.""Great with recognition providing a high level of confidence.""Data extraction and auto-classification are great features."

"It's great for document understanding for invoices and installments.""The quality of the input documents is crucial because sometimes healthcare providers prefer automated processing rather than human review.""We are working with 40,000 different vendor templates. Document Understanding can understand and process various formats without much manual effort to configure the templates. That wasn't the case when we were using Microsoft.""The entity-level extraction is very good. The workflow is also very good.""The most valuable feature is the ability for humans to train the bot.""UiPath Document Understanding's image file extraction feature is the best in any OCR solution.""The prebuilt algorithm for extracting foreign invoices is the most valuable feature because it eliminates the need for us to build anything from scratch.""We can integrate document understanding with other systems and applications."

Cons
"The product's console version is old. It should also improve its forum.""It’s not truly low code yet, as every two or three projects, you will have a situation where you have to go behind the essential things. You will definitely still need to customize.""There needs to be more accessible certification and better pricing.""The Transformation Designer of KTA can be made better.""It would be nice if the tool has more connectors to different systems. It is an expensive solution.""The pricing for Kofax TotalAgility could be more attractive, particularly the cloud version of the solution which was offered to my company. This is its area for improvement.""Kofax should improve its handwritten extractions.""Lacks sufficient inbuilt features."

More Tungsten TotalAgility Cons →

"The extraction can be better. ABBYY FlexiCapture has more capabilities than Document Understanding. It can also extract automatically without training, whereas with Document Understanding, we need to train everything.""The interface has room for improvement.""The machine learning model needs improvement, as we receive more and more unstructured documents from clients that require a lot of manual validation.""UiPath Document Understanding requires more database connectors.""The signature and handwriting are a pain point for the OCR and have room for improvement.""UiPath Document Understanding could be more user-friendly.""The documentation should be more clear, or better training should be provided.""There are also problems with handwritten documents. The results from those are not 90 percent accurate. With scanned and native PDFs, it is 90 to 99 percent accurate, but the accuracy of handwritten documents is somewhat less. If they could improve on that, it would also be helpful."
