"I think Veeam ONE is a good product to supervise and monitor infrastructure and for backup purposes."
"I think Veeam ONE is great as it is, it does everything I need."
"The solution is really easy and straightforward to use."
"Storage gateway feature is very flexible."
"The solution offers a very straightforward setup."
"I don't have to go back and forth between different applications to get the report I need."
"For me, the most important feature is alerting."
"Veeam ONE has proven to be a reliable tool not just for backups but also for general hypervisor management."
"The most valuable feature is the metrics, the ability to deep-dive into any issue we may be having from a virtual machine to a data store. Latency is a big thing - it's able to give us that metric pretty swiftly. And with our custom dashboards, it's all readily available."
"The most valuable features are the alerts and dashboard, and that the product is simple to use, configure, and upgrade."
"It has enhanced our ability to troubleshoot and effectively manage our solutions to understand what clusters are having issues and diagnose those programs right away, so we can be proactive."
"It gives us a single pane of glass to look at whenever we're trying to troubleshoot issues, so we can go to one place as opposed to multiple places."
"vRealize has a very nice dashboard. It integrates well with other products such as those from Oracle."
"I think vROps is scalable and suitable for our environment."
"I've found vROps' predictive actions, monitoring, reporting, and provisioning features to be useful."
"VMware vROps' most valuable feature is that it integrates well with our VMware infrastructure, which is helpful for us because we can closely monitor our VMs and their performance."
"I think Veeam ONE should be included in the base product instead of as an add-on because customers tend to look for simple solutions that are integrated."
"It's not that easy to use from the management side."
"When you have to renew the licenses you sometimes have some trouble getting rid of the old one and reassigning it to the new one. That's an aspect that could run smoother and could be better."
"The user experience can be better, as it is one of the areas with shortcomings in the product."
"Sometimes, it's a little difficult for me to use its user interface. Its scope is very big with a lot of tuning, settings, and so on. If it's difficult for me, it must also be difficult for our customers."
"There is a lot of information, so maybe the dashboards could consolidate it."
"The support, reporting part and customization should all be improved."
"The solution could improve by allowing the ability to do monitoring and traffic aggregation in the whole virtual network environment."
"I would like to go back in history on the performance data and blank out some of that performance data so that it isn't used in calculations."
"They need to improve the capacity and infrastructure planning side of things. Also, I would like to see them integrate more stuff, with more detailed monitoring and different cloud providers."
"vRLI still needs a lot of improvement to even start comparing with the market leader, Splunk, in terms of data analysis and customized charts/reports generation."
"I'd like to see more of the advanced reporting without having to go to the advanced product and paying the extra price. Canned reports are great, but you shouldn't have to pay for custom reports."
"It's a very complex product. It has gotten better over the years, but they still have some work to do. It still requires a lot of time, and some training, to get accustomed to it."
"One of the big areas that would help us in the future is to focus on using vROps more as a tool to help us respond to these CVEs and security vulnerabilities that are coming in today's world. We're getting CVEs upon CVEs about security vulnerabilities, whether it's a process, or architecture, or VMware bug. It would be nice to be able to have those come into vROps and help us track them across our environment... It would be nice if we could integrate that into a vROps dashboard, which sees every host and every VM in the environment."
"When you are at your lowest, support is pretty bad. They ask you dumb questions but when you come to second and upper service desk, it is much easier and much better to talk to and resolve the issue."
"At first, it was not so user-friendly because there was so much information that we were lost."
