We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable features are custom objects, custom workflows, triggering, and integration with other SaaS solutions.""I have found Salesforce Sales Cloud to be stable.""Salesforce highlights what are we selling in different regions and which regions or areas offer opportunities. We are able to view sales by month, quarter or year.""I like that Salesforce is ERP agnostic. In the past and at different companies, I have implemented new or replacement ERPs. It's best in class. I like that it's a SaaS. I like that it can work on any device—any Windows, Android, or Apple device.""The most valuable features are the reporting and the custom codes.""Salesforce Sales Cloud is a stable solution.""Our use case within the organization covers the entire cycle from lead generation, demand planning, and opportunities to realization and closure. For our clients, Salesforce is used more to plot the cycle from products to cash and lead to revenue. They mostly build offers and pricing quotations in the Salesforce environment through their field marketing agents.""The features of Sales Cloud most useful for testing and running email campaigns are highly valuable."

"We use it in a very large way across the company. Last year, we implemented approximately 22 processes and saved close to 80,000 hours total. This year, we have already saved close to 6000 hours.""The customer support is supportive and knowledgeable. They are always willing to help and support me.""The UiPath Academy is fantastic and amazing. I'm a big promoter of it in my discussions with customers.""The automation saves on manual labor.""I rate the scalability of UiPath, ten out of ten.""It's likely freed up human time by 10% or more.""The most valuable feature is the ability to extract structured data, as this is an essential part of the bots that we create.""With UiPath, development is easy because they have their own Studio. We just run UiPath Studio, drag and drop the components that we require, and connect all the dots. When we're doing website automation or web app automation, we can use their UI-based Studio and grab the elements from the web application using XPath, which makes the development easier."

Cons
"The scalability could improve by a small amount.""The monitoring is very good, but it could be better.""Sometimes, it is difficult to integrate it with my emails. I've had trouble integrating it with my emails. There were a couple of things I did try as well, but I wasn't able to do so. I've had difficulty in other areas too with integration. It was related to syncing my calendars. I want the tasks that I put in to automatically sync to my calendars and update my calendars, but I couldn't figure out how to do it.""Amount of storage provided is limited.""I think the user experience could be improved. I would like the user interface to be a bit more user-friendly and modern.""The built-in functionality is a little dated.""It does not include a professional accounting system, it is operations and it is CRM. It is not capable of accounting things.""Salesforce Sales Cloud needs a more user-friendly interface."

More Salesforce Sales Cloud Cons →

"UiPath can probably work on improving the AI features. We tried UiPath's AI functionality in our automation program. We did some research on that, but right now, nothing is in production. When we did some research, we weren't getting the expected results. We weren't completely satisfied with the results, so we put it aside. It could be a drawback on our side in terms of learning the tool.""There should be more clarity around the feedback loop along with the auto-update feature when you deploy machine learning packages. They should give some rule-based options so that if the confidence is returned higher than the previous model trained, then it would auto-deploy. If it is less, then it should send you an email rather than auto-deploy.""Their licensing is poorly constructed. It's too complicated and not well thought out. They also outsourced their support model, which sadly has become less friendly and more automated.""I would like UiPath to add built-in ticketing to Orchestrator so you can raise a ticket directly to the vendor inside the solution and send the error information. We have to build our own error-handling process, which is an enormous task.""Since we've been with them, they've changed their licensing structure. It would be nice to have one set structure where they're not changing the structure on us because we were set with what we had, but now we are changing. I understand there's a lot of changes and reasons for it.""There were a couple of times with the on-premises version that there were complications, since it is not on UiPath's cloud. We have had a lot of complications where we are dead in water. There were a couple of conditions where we weren't able to get someone up to speed on whatever. The support is not as quick to respond as we had hoped.""At the functional level, UiPath is almost perfect. The only area for improvement would be the ability to use code. In Blue Prism and other tools, we can write the code, whereas UiPath is drag-and-drop, so sometimes we have limitations when it comes to implementation.""There should be extra ways for humans to interact with automation."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The subscription is on a monthly basis."
  • "The main issue is the price. Because it's SaaS, you will have to pay on a monthly or yearly basis."
  • "It is a premium product, so it is not the cheapest solution. I think if it's implemented well, and you're getting the soft cost benefits, the efficiencies, it's justified. But not if you're looking at just apples for apples as a subscription, without the complexity that you can achieve. It can deal with complex business requirements. Some other CRMs can't. But you certainly pay, so it's a premium-charged solution. It's one of the more expensive ones."
  • "I have found Salesforce Sales Cloud to be expensive. However, it is the number one CRM solution in the world. It is worth the money."
  • "The main thing is it is costly. Salesforce it is not cheap, it's costly. Some of our customers say it is a costly solution. So, we have lost some sale opportunities regarding the high price. This is the main thing that we are facing. It is sales per user and the user price is about $150 per month, per user for the Enterprise Edition. The other edition is less than this, but it is costly. A company that has 70 or 80 users would pay more than $8,000 USD yearly because it is cloud based."
  • "My understanding is that Salesforce is a little bit expensive, but in terms of the efficiencies, automation, and visibility, I think it's definitely value for money."
  • "Implementation and add-ons may be additional costs."
  • "Being license based, the license varies by type. The pricing is considered average."

  • "It costs much less and it does much more than the competitors' solutions."
  • "The pricing differs on the requirements. If there is a huge purchase, then we get a discount. There is not a fixed pricing of the product."
  • "If you want to do a demo trial, it is a 30 days free."
  • "The community edition is completely free. Then, people say, "There is nothing to lose, let me try it.""
  • "There are operational benefits in terms of time savings and user satisfaction of not having to do menial, repetitive tasks."
  • "Traditionally, Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism are the biggest things competing against UiPath. Those are usually what most of the clients lean towards, if they see a cheaper licensing option. Clients choose UiPath because it's easier to deploy and learn within their teams."
  • "We saw ROI in 15 days."
  • "They give it away in the community edition for free, so I use it at home."
