Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature of AutomationEdge is creating accounts.""If we want to change your processes, we can code it from scratch, making it a beneficial feature of the product.""The ability to automate our processes with external plug-ins and zero code is the most valuable feature.""The initial setup was easy and straightforward.""The product's most valuable feature is the executor.""It helps us with cost optimization and easy implementation.""The studio design is fine compared to other similar products. There is nothing extraordinary about it, but at the same time, there are not any negatives.""We can quickly adapt to our end users."

"The use cases range from document ingestion, process enablement, and data management, including financial records cleanup.""Blue Prism is highly scalable and reliable.""The development interface is quite easy to work with.""The overall package from Blue Prism is valuable. I cannot pinpoint one certain part.""It is not just for coders, as you can have a diagrammatic representation of the process.""The most valuable improvement in utilizing process automation is the cost savings, but we have also had cases where the customer experience is enhanced.""We find the stability and the ease of reusing code design valuable.""We found the unassisted bots very useful because they can program a variety of different processes. This is a valuable feature of Blue Prism, especially when compared to other tools on the market."

Cons
"With other automation solutions in the market, we can simulate the process in our notebooks where the solution creates the code for us, but with AutomationEdge we can't do this.""It's not an intuitive tool.""With the solution, customizing software can be time-consuming.""AutomationEdge's ecosystem has shortcomings and needs improvement. When we compare AutomationEdge to other RPA tools in our company, we find that it has a very minor online community.""They could provide more technologies for IT and security to enhance machine learning capabilities.""In the future, they should have a similar version for the cloud and on-premises, and the installation should be flawless within few minutes.""There are some shortcomings in the product's stability that need improvement.""The ease of use is the main thing on which they really have to focus. If they want to go against the giants, it should be improved in ease of use, and it should be more user-friendly. It would be helpful because everyone should be empowered irrespective of whether they know how to code or not. They should enhance its user interface and make it more intuitive."

More AutomationEdge Cons →

"Security could be improved.""This solution is lacking attended automation, which is the worst thing about this solution.""I have been speaking directly with Blue Prism's engagement manager about making the solution more web-based. It's not quite there yet. Currently, the latest version is still under the beta version, so, as a customer, we don't have access to it. They are making it much more web-based, but for now, everything you have to log into requires an enterprise server — It's still more client-based than web-based.""The OCR capability, along with the connectivity with some of the legacy tools, needs to be improved.""Blue Prism is not very flexible when it comes to integrations.""There are some security issues in Blue Prism. The German vendor Servicetrace is way better. This is also reflected in the Gartner report where Servicetrace is mentioned as the tool of choice in high-security environments. So, security, particularly in terms of administration, needs to be improved. We must have the possibility to prevent the administration from taking a look at the ongoing process. When we have restricted data flow, the operations team should not be able to take a look at the data that is processed.""Navigation within the UI could be improved.""Its front end is not very good for things like screen scraping. UiPath and AA are very good for that. Blue Prism's license is costlier than UiPath and AA. They should be improving its price. Its artificial intelligence and cognitive features are not that strong enough. Cognitive automation should be their next area of improvement. The decoding of the bot is a highly painful activity, and this is an area of improvement for Blue Prism. It is tough to find variables and get the code in place. You have to open the whole bonnet of the car to get things in place. Their training should also be improved. UiPath and AA have their learning communities. They provide free of cost basic certification. As a result, you get trained workforce in the market that can directly work on projects, but this is not the case with Blue Prism. It is costly to get the resources trained, which increases the overall cost of getting a resource for Blue Prism. Their tech support can also be improved. Many times, the issues that should have been addressed by L1 have gone to L2."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The licensing for this solution should have a more competitive pricing model. The price is in the top five of similar products."

  • "Pricing can be made better. Currently, I think the pricing is based on the market. The pricing also depends on the business partners that offer you the solution."

  • "The product is available at the lowest price."
