Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The support from the vendor is very good.""The initial setup was easy and straightforward.""We can quickly adapt to our end users.""The product's most valuable feature is the executor.""If we want to change your processes, we can code it from scratch, making it a beneficial feature of the product.""The chatbot that they have is most valuable. It is one of the best features because they own it, and they don't need to integrate with other parties to have a chatbot. This is one of the main features. The rest of the features are common to all RPA tools or vendors available in the market.""It helps us with cost optimization and easy implementation.""The studio design is fine compared to other similar products. There is nothing extraordinary about it, but at the same time, there are not any negatives."

"The solution has reduced costs overall via automation. However, I cannot speak to exact cost savings. As a whole, it's saved our organization money.""StudioX allows me to build simple automation projects without the need to engage our development team.""The Orchestrator is quite good because it is a one-stop shop where you can run robots after creating them using Studio. You can create queues, monitor the bots, and if there are any issues then you can debug them at the Orchestrator level.""We see time savings for our users in the sense that they now can do more tasks that should have been done all along but weren't getting done. That's more where the gains have been this far.""I find the solution easy to use... I've been able to take people with absolutely zero technical background and quickly scale them up in a matter of weeks so they're building bots. I haven't been able to accomplish that same feat with the other platforms.""The initial setup was pretty straightforward.""UiPath is an efficient and user-friendly tool.""In the dynamic world of DeFi, where integrated financial processes and smart contracts are the norm, UiPath's workflow automation capabilities provide us with a valuable advantage."

Cons
"We cannot use extra modules while working with AutomationEdge. It crashes if we have lots of data to process in Excel.""The ease of use is the main thing on which they really have to focus. If they want to go against the giants, it should be improved in ease of use, and it should be more user-friendly. It would be helpful because everyone should be empowered irrespective of whether they know how to code or not. They should enhance its user interface and make it more intuitive.""With the solution, customizing software can be time-consuming.""There are some shortcomings in the product's stability that need improvement.""The price of the solution could be improved.""With other automation solutions in the market, we can simulate the process in our notebooks where the solution creates the code for us, but with AutomationEdge we can't do this.""The installation process could improve. It was difficult to complete.""They could provide more technologies for IT and security to enhance machine learning capabilities."

More AutomationEdge Cons →

"Previous Orchestrator versions were very user-friendly for the admins and the users, but the new Orchestrator is a bit advanced. If they could reduce its complexity, to something more like what it used to be like, it would be better.""Going forward, I would like to see more stability in the robots. When I create a robot, then I want it to work for quite some period of time. I've had some situations, where things will update, change, and the robot is broken. Part of this is making a more stable implementation easier.""I would like to see improvements made in OCR, Captcha Automation, and PDF extraction.""The solution needs to offer more integrations.""Its deployment is easy but there is a learning curve in the beginning. Its onboarding isn't easy, and there is no onboarding guidance. They need to take more care of the onboarding guidance and improve it. It is user-friendly for me and for most people, but for people who have zero programming knowledge, it is hard. They have to turn to the community and other places for knowledge.""There are some functionality limitations on UiPath that we could have access to on different platforms.""UiPath is very stable. I have not had any issues in terms of that. The only issue we used to have was if a website were to change or an application were to change, but we have found ways to work around that and deal with those types of situations.""Document processing could be improved. It's challenging to build document automations. It would be helpful if UiPath provided some templates and prebuilt models. Citrix automation could be improved. It's static automation, and we cannot fully automate processes involving Citrix. Some elements aren't supported."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The licensing for this solution should have a more competitive pricing model. The price is in the top five of similar products."
  • "If you are looking for a budget solution, you can consider AE. It has all the features. Scaling it is way easier because of the cost itself."
  • "I give the price of the solution a nine out of ten."
  • "Pricing can be made better. Currently, I think the pricing is based on the market. The pricing also depends on the business partners that offer you the solution."
  • "Price-wise, AutomationEdge is pretty affordable, making it not so expensive when you compare this with other tools in the market."
  • "The product is available at the lowest price."
  • More AutomationEdge Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "It costs much less and it does much more than the competitors' solutions."
  • "The pricing differs on the requirements. If there is a huge purchase, then we get a discount. There is not a fixed pricing of the product."
  • "If you want to do a demo trial, it is a 30 days free."
  • "The community edition is completely free. Then, people say, "There is nothing to lose, let me try it.""
  • "There are operational benefits in terms of time savings and user satisfaction of not having to do menial, repetitive tasks."
  • "Traditionally, Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism are the biggest things competing against UiPath. Those are usually what most of the clients lean towards, if they see a cheaper licensing option. Clients choose UiPath because it's easier to deploy and learn within their teams."
  • "We saw ROI in 15 days."
  • "They give it away in the community edition for free, so I use it at home."
