We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"One of the features that people enjoy is the whiteboard, providing opportunities for academics to present content and for students to contribute. The platform also allows for the creating of different rooms, enabling large classes to break into smaller groups for discussions. Students can then return to the main classroom to share their opinions. It integrates with LMS.""Document loading and annotation.""The solution allows me to connect and collaborate with my classes."

"There are many valuable features. Security is one – you can lock Zoom meetings when you find that all the participants have joined so that there are no intruders.""I'm using it only for meetings, and it is good for me. It provides options for remote control and screen sharing.""The best thing about Zoom is that it is very easy to use.""The grid view option is great, as you get to see everyone who is in the video conference at the same time.""Another advantage of Zoom is that it is easier to link a person that is not a Zoom user than it is with WebEx.""The standout feature of Zoom is its excellent connectivity, offering high-quality audio and video. Additionally, its familiarity stems from being an early adopter in the field of online communication during the onset of epidemics. Previously, I had used a different system for video conferences in another company, which primarily relied on room-based conferences rather than peer-to-peer video conferencing. However, with the need to communicate directly with peers, Zoom emerged as the first and preferred choice for me. Overall, I consider it the top option and the primary tool I use. Additionally, the solution has all the functionality I need.""The main benefit is that it allows us to easily connect and collaborate, even in areas with less reliable internet.""The most valuable feature is the ease of use."

Cons
"The system can overload when too many try logging in.""We faced outages when the user limit went over a certain number.""If there were maybe more tutorials outside of what I'm aware the university is suggesting, I would take more tutorials on effective ways to deliver content. I come from the industry and content was always needed when people that were observing were smart and involved and decision-makers instead of so passively just trying to pass the course. In my imagination, the tutorials would be a tool where the learners themselves can have much more hands-on learning during a Collaborate session."

"In the free version, you are restricted to just 40-minute meetings, however, it is free, and therefore you can't ask for too much. It's still okay.""We use screen sharing, but sometimes it can be awkward because you might accidentally share the wrong screen, including personal ones. ......Similar to the integration between Google Calendar and Google Meet, having everything in one environment would be much more convenient for scheduling meetings.""Zoom's stability is an area with certain shortcomings that need improvement.""The solution could improve by being more secure.""I would say that Zoom should support more platforms. I think it has some limitations. It should be supported on all platforms.""If Zoom added the feature of Zoom Phone so that I can use it as a phone, it would be much better.""The video quality of the free version might not be as good as the enterprise edition.""The interface requires some slight improvement in that it could better show the meeting attendees."
