Find out in this report how the two ERP solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."It is strong in integration."
"The most valuable feature is financial control. The accounting aspect allows us to manage our clients and payments."
"The stability was reliable."
"The solution is easy to use and not complicated. Also, it is easy to get trained on. Also, there is good information available on the web. The GP community is quite broad and there are many blogs online."
"I haven't used it a lot, but the best thing is that the processes are very detailed."
"The fixed assets, payroll, the data module, and user-friendliness are most valuable."
"You can track everything from beginning to end quite easily."
"The system is easy to customize and has user-friendly access. "
"This is the most efficient ERP that is in the market right now."
"For us, the most useful feature of Business One is Material Requirements Planning (MRP)."
"We have been happy with the command line interface of SAP Business One."
"The solution offers a structured view and is useful for the top management. The top management finds it organized and structured. It is stable and gives you fewer headaches as an IT manager."
"It offers users a rather simple interface."
"The efficient Intercompany sales to purchase order conversion is great."
"SAP Business One consolidates various functions, including production, sales, inventory, and purchase management."
"Sales CRM and Financials are most valuable."
"What could be improved is the functionality of Dynamics GP because it requires a lot of development by the programmers and the company in order to integrate into a solution."
"This is now a legacy product, so they're phasing it out over time."
"With payroll, the payroll that they have offers US or Canadian tax. However, here, our tax payments are different from the US and Canada. It is very difficult to put in our tax tables. We need some customization. It should be readily available for any country to use according to their tax implications. The system should know different types of tax regimes around the world so that it can accommodate. It's a little bit rigid on that."
"As technology changes, I would say probably in the area of chart up account needs improvement because chart up account is a string. So if they make it more flexible."
"It still can be improved in web-based and build reporting. "
"Dynamics GP could be improved in terms of its usability and modernization."
"There should also be extra redundancy when posting to modules. We use different sets of books such as CashBook and CheckBooks therefore if I select the wrong one the solution allows the transaction to just pass without warning."
"As for room for improvement, they have different modules, project and analytical accounting, but it will be good to have that kind of part in the standard package. To have that additional reporting functionality where you can add an attribute or something, which you can report again. So you can analyze the cost by not just natural accounts but also by a project, without having to go through another module edit on top and then the other module edit on top. The more modules you add, sometimes it doesn't work that well. Additionally, it would be easier to have the solution on the cloud. That's our consideration. We are trying to move all our systems to the cloud, and GP is one of them that we are going to move in the next couple of years. I would rate the solution seven or seven point five out of ten."
"Our business has grown beyond the capabilities of Business One. We need a bigger ERP solution, and therefore we are moving away."
"While SAP has been a leader in the enterprise and SME segments, many competitors have emerged with new features, especially in analytic modules like Salesforce and Oracle. The rise of cloud tools from providers like Amazon, Google, and Azure, offering analytics and visual analytical tools, has contributed to this shift. It seems SAP Business One may not have focused as much on this aspect, prioritizing the basic functioning of the enterprise. As a result, the latest user experience, particularly in digital aspects of data consumption, may not be on par with what's available in the market."
"There is room for improvement in stability."
"It is limiting in terms of the in-between communication for manufacturing. We are suffering from a lot of issues in production. We are now considering S/4HANA, and we are also looking for some customized tools to integrate with SAP Business One."
"SAP Business One could improve project management, quality assurance, material management, forecasting, full costing, and quality control. Many modules are missing in this solution."
"The extension of dashboards into mobiles is something which SAP Business One has to improve on."
"Our customers often request concurrent licensing, which is not available with SAP Business One. Adding this option would be beneficial."
"There are problems with Business One's collection management and reconciliation."
