Find out in this report how the two Rapid Application Development Software solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Intuitive with a user-friendly UI."
"One of the most valuable features is the ability to build very fast data-driven UIs."
"The product is fast."
"We set up the HTTP server and installed the Apex Xamarin DB using the Mark Hill SQL packages for an older version. That's the extent of our configuration."
"I particularly enjoy the web builder capabilities, especially the Page Designer. It offers so many elements or components to choose from, which is a major plus for me."
"I like the way that it automatically goes into the spreadsheets and the users can deal with it."
"The virtual patching feature is valuable."
"It has a well-designed architecture and is a simple 3rd party application."
"It is a stable solution...It is a scalable solution."
"Learning materials, such as online courses, are readily available."
"The solution is very comprehensive."
"Scalability-wise, it is a very good solution."
"It's very intuitive and easy to use. The flexibility and user-friendliness of ServiceNow are key reasons it's such a popular cloud solution."
"The solution provides a single platform for multiple systems and software to operate from. We have found the solution to be stable The initial setup and deployment of the solution was very easy. The technical support team are very helpful, we contact them whenever we are unable to fix an issue."
"Now Platform's best features are collaboration, configurability, and customizability."
"What I like most about the ServiceNow Now Platform is the flexibility of using JavaScript. I also like that the platform allows custom scripting, server-side scripting, and client-side scripting. Another valuable feature in the ServiceNow Now Platform is the Flow Designer which allows dragging and dropping code, and low code activities."
"Connecting with Oracle and the relation with Oracle at the database as a procedure needs improvement."
"Apex has effectively incorporated new market trends into its features. The platform's user-friendly nature is notable, guiding developers through the development process. While advanced customization of the user interface with HTML and CSS is possible, the out-of-the-box options often suffice, providing 80-90% of the required functionality. The IDE is commendable, yet an enhancement in the Page Designer to allow a real-time preview of layout changes would be beneficial. Currently, running the page is necessary to visualize layout adjustments, but an immediate preview during the design phase would be a valuable improvement."
"It would be beneficial to include WebSockets so that you can see real-time updates."
"An area for improvement in Oracle Application Express (APEX) is the slow reporting because pulling the report for two months, one year, three years, etc., is very slow. It takes more than thirty minutes to download the report. There's also room for improvement in integrating Oracle Application Express (APEX) with other vendors, such as open-source solutions through API integration. I believe Oracle is working on this feature, or the issue could be because my organization is using an older version of Oracle Application Express (APEX). The Oracle database also has to be improved because it's still lacking in some packages, triggers, and indexes."
"Maybe there are other technologies that offer what APEX cannot."
"It would be highly beneficial if APEX were an all-in-one platform capable of handling all aspects of application development."
"There is a bit of a learning curve involved when first using the solution."
"It has a bit of a strict framework, you have to make all the time adjustments in their JavaScript. Another downside is that it's only available for Oracle databases."
"The product should be integrated with Power BI."
"The solution’s AI and NLP features could be improved."
"Simplifying the user interface for both users and administrators is key. It is not very intuitive."
"ServiceNow Now Platform's technical support needs to improve."
"The Robotic Process Automation features are not mature enough. ServiceNow could work toward that because we can leverage RP only from this platform."
"The solution is very expensive."
"The basic reporting system is rather static."
"The solution doesn't allow users to create custom tables, which would be a big improvement."
