We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Kerio Connect is secure, flexible, and easy to control from the user interface. It has many security features able to be controlled from one place, such as anti-spam. I have found it very convenient. Additionally, you can analyze log files and share folders which is helpful.""The user interface is good.""We have contacted technical support a handful of times and received some assistance.""What I like most about Kerio Connect is that it supports ActiveSync, and that is its most critical feature. The solution is also a nice, simple, robust, and stable mail server.""The most valuable features are security and privacy because you installed it on your server, within your company premises, not in the cloud.""It's relatively simple to use.""The most valuable features are its ease of use, excellent pricing, and it is platform agnostic."

"The initial setup is quite a straightforward process. I don't think it is a very complicated solution. Plenty of things could be more complex, but the ordinary, general settings are quite simple.""It's so much of a part of what I do every day that I don't give it a lot of thought. It just works, for the most part, until it doesn't, in which case I call tech support.""The backup and archiving features are valuable, it is user friendly too.""It's an excellent product from Microsoft. It provides more flexibility to the end-users. As it's connected with Teams, it also enables collaboration.""The interface is user-friendly.""Exchange is easy to use. It also has a built-in calendar for all the stuff I'm supposed to be looking at and doing. Exchange tells you if you have a doctor's appointment or a scheduled call. It also has a place to store and manage your contacts. If I want to add a new contact, it will put in information about that contact stored anywhere within the Microsoft Suite.""Microsoft has a very good support team.""It has a feature that allows you to retain an email and recover it as an administrator. When you activate this feature, even if a user deletes an email, the email is still in the system, and we can retrieve it as an administrator. It is a very useful function. We turn this feature on for some of the mailboxes because we need to keep all the records. I like the way emails are classified in this solution. It makes it really easy to take a look at the most important messages. This is a really good functionality. Some of the emails directly exchanged with you are marked as important and shown in one tab, and everything else is in another tab. We usually don't have any issue with Exchange. It can be integrated with different solutions."

Cons
"I would like to see better support from their support team.""The solution could improve the redundancy because we only have one copy of the Kerio Connect server on our hardware. The next step for us is to move to the cloud and if Kerio does not have a cloud version available they should release one""It could be simpler to use and install, but I still wouldn't use it because there isn't a compelling use case.""You cannot integrate with other services like Google Docs, Google Assistant, Google Calendar, etc.""Most of our clients use Outlook and Kerio Connect. Occasionally, Kerio can be a bit slow. They could make it faster to get onto the web interface without so much load time. It's just slow with Outlook, however, for some reason.""The search and archiving documentation capabilities need to be stronger.""Having a native Outlook map integration would make Kerio Connect better."

More KerioConnect Cons →

"If it was the same product, and slightly cheaper, that would be amazing.""The setup is difficult so could be easier.""The price of Microsoft Exchange could improve, it is priced high.""I would like to see the search capability of the Outlook client improved""Microsoft could make it easier to combine comments in the GUI. It isn't easy to do certain things in Exchange, primarily if the administrator isn't used to the command line, so I think the customer interface could be improved.""The only thing that could be improved is the pricing.""They could continue to improve the consolidation and integration of mailbox services to make them more flexible, easier to deploy, and more manageable.""There are issues when you add your domain to Microsoft Tenant, and you try to create that. Which is a problem for me."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The pricing is about $3 per mailbox per month."
  • "The price of Kerio Connect is better when comparing it to others solutions."
  • More KerioConnect Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "They are flexible when it comes to pricing, unlike most of the other vendors I have dealt with."
  • "It's working very well. There is no problem, but the price is not the best."
  • "Its price is okay."
  • "It's a little bit expensive."
  • "Its price is very affordable, and basically, it is the standard of the industry. We have the Exchange 365 subscription, which includes the usage of Exchange Online. I don't know the specific cost, but it is the retail price of Microsoft 365 E3 licenses. Microsoft's licensing is not very easy to understand. Microsoft changes rules every other day, which makes it difficult for us to understand the licensing not only for Exchange but also for other products. It can sometimes be really complex to understand what you need to have in order to comply with Microsoft licensing."
  • "Microsoft doesn't have a unit price, it's based on the quantity, and they offer great discounts."
  • "We are currently using enterprise licenses for the solution. They are different pricing models available. There are individual, cloud-based, and enterprise licenses all with different pricing models. The larger the number of users, the lesser the price. For small to medium companies like us, we feel it is expensive."
  • "Its price is fair."
