Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It gets a mobility portal in place in conjunction with Office 365. It provides very good possibilities and it's much better than other technology that we have used before which was unstable and slower.""We use the product to run different reports.""This is a user-friendly solution.""The soundness of the solution is its most valuable feature. For example, if you are in our corporate network, you can log on without any traffic interfering.""It provides ease of connecting all our devices.""I like the self-service feature. The 502 and UBP systems are also excellent. PingID's ability to authenticate with SSH, RDP, and Windows login is pretty handy. It covers the entire spectrum of use.""It's pretty stable as a product.""The mobile biometric authentication option improved user experience. It's always about security because, with two-factor authentication, it's always a separate device verifying the actual user logging in."

"SailPoint IdentityIQ has a good and straightforward user interface. They also have a lot of resources and documentation available to understand the process.""Certifications and user provisioning features are the most valuable.""The tool is quite stable and user-friendly.""Great product to manage the access control of users.""The community is very active and when I had questions about an issue, I was able to find the resources.""The tool's GUI is user-friendly.""The solution is very good at the management of the identity lifecycle.""The big one now is that they're adding AI and machine learning to figure out automated approvals and make recommendations to their reviewers. So, if I bring up Doug McPherson and it says he has access to this application, the system will make a review based on peer group analysis. That's one of the biggest new things. The problem used to be that people would get everything loaded on, and they created too much work for themselves. Now, they can use these policies and start to let the machine pick the less risky things."

Cons
"I think that the connection with like Microsoft Word, especially for Office 365, is a weak point that could be improved.""It has a long way to go until it is a cloud-based solution.""The management console needs to be improved. PingID should revise it.""PingID classifies the type of environment into internal and external, which is an area for improvement because you need to take additional steps to trust internal and external users.""PingID should put a little more effort into making a pretty self-explanatory deck about their tech features and the services they offer.""We have encountered instances where it is not easy to do authentication.""The product is not customizable.""The timing of the token validity, if it could be extended, would be great. I'm not sure if there is even an option to configure these types of settings."

"Additional details during account aggregation failures to help quick troubleshooting.""There is a need for further enhancements, specifically in the multifactor authentication capabilities.""The product must improve its support.""Compared to at least one other product some of the administrative tasks could be easier or more intuitive.""SailPoint IdentityIQ has a primitive AI engine.""The cost of this solution is high. The technical assistance center could be improved. They're very good, but considering the intricacies of the solution, they can further improve.""The mover process for this solution could be improved.""The user interface is not very user-friendly."
