Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It is a scalable solution. Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""ARIS process modeling and analysis allows integration of end-to-end business processes with the organization's vision, strategies, and business objectives, through visual management.""Platform that it supports covers legacy and new. Caters to moving older objects into an integrated DB, relatively popular ones: SQL, Oracle, etc.""ARIS BPA has a good directory option, which helps to keep track of all of your metadata, and that's very useful.""It helps to maintain a single source of truth regarding the processes followed within an organization.""The initial setup is easy.""The stability of the ARIS BPM platform is quite good. The nice thing about it is the central database, where we can use all of our data. We can even manage users.""Business Process Analysis: We can simulate, optimize, and analyse business processes based on various business requirements. It assures our rolling out the best processes."

"I find the data lineage features most valuable.""One of the most valuable features is its user-friendly API, which simplifies the implementation of workflows, such as managing inbox tasks for specific users within BPM profiles.""We selected this solution not only for the BPM but for the entire package.""The most valuable feature is the complete workflow through the BPM, from making it available as a generated code based on the backend, deploying it in the test environment, and then going to production.""The support is good.""This solution has given us a quick time to market, the ability to integrate with the rest of the corporate applications, and the ability to hire talent in low-cost locations.""One of the most valuable features of Oracle BPM is the workflow itself. It is quite intuitive.""The solution provides extensive functionalities."

Cons
"There is a lot of room for improvement. They need to increase the performance of the system flow. They need to support it more. ARIS Process Governance is still quite basic, and they are using an old BPM and process automation module.""The reporting capabilities and the ability to create custom reports need to be simplified and made easy so that people even with a good functional understanding of the tool can leverage it to create their own custom report.""The solution is difficult and not very exciting to learn.""There is not enough documentation provided for the tool's support or administration.""The tool needs to improve its support since they take long to respond.""In terms of improvement, the app could use some small details and functionalities.""Making it more customizable and easy to learn would be a benefit.""There should be a more intuitive tool when creating reports."

"Oracle BPM is hard to configure.""Though Oracle BPM is a stable solution, it's very heavy, so this is one area for improvement. If Oracle can make the components of Oracle BPM lighter, and if the deployment for the solution could be easier, that would make Oracle BPM better.""Every time we roll out a new version of processes, we have to migrate to a new process. The process of this migration was not very smooth. We later decided that it would be easier for us to stop all processes, deploy a new version and then restart.""Pricing is an area that could use improvement.""Oracle BPM could probably be improved with respect to the cost. When you are using this product, it'll be a bit costlier for the ROA. I think they should do some discounts on these products, especially for the licenses.""From my knowledge of this solution, I don't see that the Oracle BPM includes features such as the growth of discovery and process mining.""We have had some issues with version migration, from one version of processes to another. We would have to call Oracle Services but on a day to day, we didn't have any issues.""Existing APIs in the product need to be fine-tuned, made more robust and flexible for adoption."
