We performed a comparison between Blue Prism and Tungsten RPA based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable feature is the design studio and its ease of use."
"You can easily see where all your problems lie, in a visual way. It's always nice to have a visual representation of things... Seeing things at one glance makes a lot of difference, instead of having to read through the fine print and see where the issues are."
"The multi-bot architecture is very flexible."
"The web-based designer is very user-friendly and easy to use."
"The only feature that stands out in Blue Prism, as compared to other tools, is security. This is the only reason for still having Blue Prism in our bucket. It is very secure and reliable, and it has also been in the market for a very long time. We automated a lot of federal and government automation processes very recently with this solution."
"The most valuable features are the exception handling and embedded control room."
"Blue Prism has a lot of flexibility to integrate with other enterprise applications"
"We have integrated the product with our centralized infra-monitoring tool, which gives us real-time insights into BOT health and also the health of the underlying resources."
"Kofax RPA's best feature is its high success percentage in picking up information from documents, especially where the DPI is really low."
"The product saves time and resources."
"The pricing of the solution is quite good."
"The product provides end-to-end solutions for different business problems."
"It is stable and scalable."
"The features that we have found the most valuable are the integration of different third-party support and productivity services."
"This is a stable platform and we did not encounter any big problems."
"The solution is scalable."
"They should incorporate more functionalities in the analytics tool."
"Security could be improved."
"Blue Prism needs to work in a web-based account. I think that the Blue Prism will need to have the main features be web-based so that you can control the box in a web-based environment and not in a client's environment."
"We didn't find it much useful for unstructured data. It is not easy to do the automation with Blue Prism if you have unstructured data. It should have better automation processes or connectors for unstructured data such as PDFs or pictures. It has a connector for different applications, such as SAP, but we use a few other applications for which it doesn't have a connector. It should have a more comprehensive dashboard that we can use to see the processes that are running and control the parameters."
"Blue Prism features two layers of documentation. If we could make it in one layer, then it would be easy to develop, and it would take less time for developers to complete the task."
"The control room is its worst feature. It can be laggy, and it is not as user-friendly. We're with staying Blue Prism, but we're moving it from on-premises to Microsoft cloud for cost savings. We looked into Blue Prism cloud. It has a lot of features, but it comes with a lot of costs. Right now, we have six spots, and we're only at 13% utilization. The cost didn't really weigh out for us for moving to Blue Prism cloud, but on-premises, it is working for what we need."
"They cannot do assisted automation. That is a drawback because that technology is very old now."
"There are some new tools on the market that work better than Blue Prism. When Blue Prism receives information I have found other RPA solutions refresh the application better. At this moment it's not the best application."
"The interface could be better from a usability standpoint."
"Kofax RPA's UI could be more user-friendly."
"Kofax RPA could improve web-based automation and there should be a choice of what browser we can use, such as Google Chrome, instead of an inbuilt browser from Kofax RPA. Additionally, Kofax RPA is missing an orchestrator that other solutions have, such as UiPath."
"The technical support must be improved."
"The scalability has room for improvement."
"Automation with the latest websites is not effective. The support of newer websites developed using new technologies would improve this solution."
"The product should improve desktop automation, which is hard to configure. It needs to have custom connectors. It is the only advantage that Microsoft Power Platform has over Kofax RPA. It has more than 800 custom connectors."
"I would like to see them further enhance the OCR, specifically in the multi-language support."
