We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It is basically free for me because it comes with my Office 365 subscription. The main feature is that there is abundant learning material on platforms like YouTube. You can find information about whatever you want to be done in Spanish or English without a problem. It is very easy to learn. Users can start using it on their own without any former training, which is something I like about this solution.""To me, what's most useful in WinAutomation by Softomotive is that it's quite intuitive, especially because most of the capabilities of the older WinAutomation remain. You also don't need to do or know hard coding, and this is another useful feature of the solution. I also like that WinAutomation by Softomotive integrates very well with Microsoft products, especially Microsoft Office, and this is great news because most companies use Microsoft Office. Having a very good integration with the Microsoft Office suite covers a lot of bases, and is one of the advantages of WinAutomation by Softomotive.""The initial setup is pretty easy.""It is quick, so I'm quite happy with it. It is also easy to use.""The most valuable features of Microsoft Power Automate are the connectors, such as loops, which make things easier.""The most valuable features of this solution are the automation interface and the RPA automation.""The development time for ProcessRobot is very good compared to other solutions.""Its integration with the Office 365 ecosystem is most valuable. We use a lot of ready-to-use templates."

"Transformational processes are well managed, including exceptions, so that adds to the stability. Also, you can scale out from one bot to tens of thousands, so automation is quite easy with UiPath.""The most valuable feature is the fluidity of the products. When I want to use RPA, I can use RPA. When I want to do process mining, I can do process mining. Those are the two top that I typically use it for.""The UiPath Orchestrator is one source to easily manage all bots.""The most valuable features are the scheduler, queues, and activities.""The Task Mining is one feature that is very helpful to any business analyst. I do business analysis, and the info that I produce goes to our UiPath team to develop automations.""Attended Bots have been star cases as it totally removes dependencies of user literacy to know the application.""There’s a good level of maturity in the UiPath framework.""I like the REFramework. It's one of the unique selling points of UiPath because it gives you a framework within the software to structure your processes. It's perfect in terms of error handling and it provides a lot of functionalities for processing multiple transactions. It makes the whole solution more robust."

Cons
"From an improvement perspective, Microsoft just needs to make sure that they have a real enterprise RPA tool. PowerApps and Power Automate are still not at the level of UiPath and Automation Anywhere. It could be because Automation Anywhere and UiPath have been in the market for quite some time. It's just about Microsoft increasing their focus in terms of product reviews and development and making them competitive products that one can consider at an enterprise level. Right now, their use cases are limited as compared to what one would consider doing with UiPath and Automation Anywhere.""The product should improve its RPA capabilities.""Any task that is automated needs to be very simple. This tool does not seem to handle complicated tasks very well.""I've had some issues with the stability.""The licensing model is difficult to understand and is something that should be improved.""How long it takes to deploy will depend on how confident you are with your development. The development itself is not easy.""More scripting capabilities could be included in Microsoft Power Automate.""Sometimes, Microsoft changes the game rules, and the free tools are no longer free, which makes it too hard to explain to customers. It is a SaaS service, so the cost is calculated based on the execution hours. However, we don't know the background of this cost because we cannot touch the infrastructure. They can be more open to developers or customers about this. The infrastructure part must be open for the customers."

More Microsoft Power Automate Cons →

"The interactive selection could be more accurate.""They should give the flexibility to customers to reduce the number of licenses. UiPath does not want you to reduce the number of licenses. It is not easy to reduce the number of licenses even though there is a provision to do that. It would be good to give flexibility to customers to upscale and downscale whenever they want.""The certification can be made more affordable.""The should be more out-of-the-box models if UiPath keeps adding on.""One thing I don't like about UiPath is that it does not have a very good user interface for a newbie. It's not that the user interface itself is bad, but when I started using it, it was very difficult for me to understand the tool and how to use it... The user interface should be a little simpler than it is right now, as it is very complex.""There are a lot of things that can be done to the product to make it better but they are minor and the product continues to improve with every release.""They could focus more on UiPath Studio. I would like to see them add more features for developers who have a deeper understanding of programming languages.""When it comes to REFramework, we need more training videos and tutorial documents for beginners."
