Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Its integration with the Office 365 ecosystem is most valuable. We use a lot of ready-to-use templates.""AI Builder is a good add-on.""It's an intuitive product. It's not overly technical.""The most valuable features of Microsoft Power Automate are the connectors, such as loops, which make things easier.""I use the product for automation.""It is a great solution for simple automation activities or simple automation of simple tasks. It is also integrated with Office 365. Integration is an absolute breeze with any RPA software.""It servers our purposes in bringing together all types of applications, being able to automate them with the right intelligent output from the data that we plugin.""The most valuable feature is that it easily integrates with other Microsoft products, so it has multiple connectors. You can create solutions that connect to Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive."

"It takes care of simple tasks so users can focus more on exceptions than on regular use cases. They only focus on orders where they need to handle an exception, some information was not given, or there is an issue that they had to focus on. The rest of it goes straight through without human touch. We want to see our employees as engineers, wherein they think and solve problems, not necessarily have to do repetitive tasks. I think WorkFusion helps with avoiding repetitive tasks.""We can see that its competitive ability is quite good.""The automation process is the most valuable feature.""The Robotic Desktop Automation Express component allows us to do rapid development outside the normal, time-consuming processes.""The most valuable features are the Excel activities. It has a number of Excel activities that are quite reliable.""The dashboard is the solution's most valuable feature. When clients want to look at the data it's very easy for them to do so. The dashboard for the IT manager is very useful if there are issues and to create and follow processes.""We have seen Workfusion improve on accuracy and compliance... With the Workfusion model, we reduce human error and the need for further QC. We switch more to a QA process where we're testing whether the model is effective.""The document processing engine is good. We're extracting around 70 data points from a given document, and we have an automated extraction rate of 80 percent for those fields."

Cons
"Microsoft Power Automate could improve by adding more features to the free version it would be good because there are many features that you have to pay for. There are some functions that IT personnel, like myself, have a difficult time using and could be made more user-friendly.""While Microsoft has a way of integrating well with itself and its own internal tools, it could do more to include external options and add them to the mix.""When you are doing desktop automation, they do not have a clear structure to create the code.""Compared to other RPA solutions, there is a little bit of a feature gap.""Automatic selectors that allow me to select parts of a website could be more adaptable.""The thing which needs the most improvement is really the documentation. It should have better details of the processes.""There is a limitation in setting up loops, where it does not support multiple conditions.""I think the language Microsoft Power Automate uses when you do expressions could be better. What they use is not a popular programming language. It would be better for Microsoft to find a more popular programming language, such as Python. It would take away the whole no-code aspect of the solution but you don't need to write that many lines of code to improve something in a process. Instead of no-code, they could be a low-code environment."

More Microsoft Power Automate Cons →

"The user experience could be better both from an RPA perspective and from a business perspective.""The most common issue we have is with the OCR, but that also depends on the quality of the documents your scanning. Still, I would say the OCR is comparable to other solutions. I wouldn't say it's better or worse than other OCR engines.""It should integrate with more ERP solutions like SAP. It doesn't currently have that ability.""One thing we didn't like was their OCR solution. We felt it's somewhat inefficient.""One of the issues that we are facing here in China, is that we cannot access the material for training because it is on YouTube. In China, we do not have access to YouTube.""We are having some database issues, but we are addressing them.""We would like to see further improvement in the area of running headless.""Machine learning models for document-heavy processes have room for improvement because they require significant effort to train and update."

  • "Find it online."
  • "They have a very expensive license compared to any other automation tool. For instance, at $50,000 - $60,000, you can bring in an Automation Anywhere solution. For this solution, you need at least $250,000 to get something going."
  • "It is not the most expensive solution, but it is also not the cheapest."
  • "I can't speak to pricing. It's a contract signed by upper management."
  • "We are on an annual contract to use the solution."
  • "My client is using RPA Express, which is available for them to use free of charge."
  • "One upgrade took a year to do, from the first server being built to the last bot being migrated. This was because we had to migrate all our existing bots. This is the same process and time frame that we are expecting towards the upcoming upgrade. I will end up spending half a million dollars to do an upgrade."
  • "The solution was not the cheapest, but it was also not the most expensive. Workfusion was very open to negotiating pricing and to working within the objectives of our firm."
