We performed a comparison between Nintex RPA and UiPath based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Nintex RPA doesn't require much coding, and you can drag and drop the activities."
"Nintex RPA often includes security features, including encryption and user access controls, which ensure the protection of sensitive data and compliance with security standards."
"The initial setup process is easy."
"The ability to follow and orchestrate what the robots are doing has been very valuable. I've been working on the automation hub because that's the next step after our test case of five robotic implementations. So, it is orchestrated to see how they're doing."
"UiPath excels at integrating with a wide variety of systems, including on-premises systems, legacy systems, and web pages."
"The document understanding feature is perhaps the most significant and useful use case for UiPath."
"We use it in a very large way across the company. Last year, we implemented approximately 22 processes and saved close to 80,000 hours total. This year, we have already saved close to 6000 hours."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the ease of deployment."
"The ability to automate is the most valuable feature; UiPath has many prebuilt tools like drag and drop, which is excellent."
"UiPath's ease of use for automating our company's processes is a five out of five. We have found it very easy to talk to them, identifying what can be done along with the potential use cases. They have been very good at guiding us through what is realistic at this point, how their robots could help us save time and improve accuracy, and how our users can engage with their robots, e.g., ensuring that users engage with the robots and use their product."
"The most valuable feature of UiPath is they have direct access to read and write data in their applications, so we don't need to build a back-end interface."
"There could be some features to fix compatibility issues with firmware."
"Further simplifying the low-code development process can attract a broader user base by making automation accessible to those with minimal technical skills."
"Nintex RPA is not suitable for PDF automation."
"We cannot utilize the UiPath community edition license to operate any bots that we have created using that version in an enterprise environment."
"The testing and release schedule for Studio should be improved because we find that with two releases per year, one of the versions is stable and the other one is not."
"Licensing is one area where UiPath could do better and can be more competitive. It is a little expensive. Their bundling of products is a bit confusing. For instance, if we want the UiPath Apps license, it is bundled with Action Center, so you also have to procure the Action Center license. These bundles are not tailored as per our company's requirements. If we reach out to the UiPath partners who deal with the accounts, they usually take your request into consideration and see what best they can do, but it is still not easily customizable."
"I would like to see some integration, or ease of integration, with APIs, so we can automate stuff faster. E.g., we go through a co-op, which is a card processor, and they have a very powerful API."
"They could work to improve the user community."
"The product does not provide features for chatbot development."
"UiPath is limited to one application at a time and cannot process two applications simultaneously."
"What happens when a selector breaks? That means that something has changed in the application... UiPath could do a better job of enveloping selectors to make them less fragile... That is the one area that is the biggest pain point. It happens all the time... They should reduce selector sensitivity and improve remediation when one does break."
