Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature is the dial-in capability.""It's easy to set up.""We like that this solution allows us to assign separate numbers to people without having to have a physical telephone system in place.""Even for somebody who does not have a lot of experience, they can easily use it.""Reduced the need for physically commuting between offices.""GoToMeeting's security is very good. I've never known anybody to crash a GoToMeeting.""Pricing is reasonable. It's not expensive. The pricing is one of the great selling points for the product.""I think all the features are very useful, especially the rooms features and we present with screen sharing. Instead of organizing conferences, we are able to do that online. This has been saving us from spending on travel. From the beginning of this year, because of GoToMeeting, I have canceled I think three or four business trips."

"The most valuable features of Microsoft Teams are the calendar integration and the integration of chat and chat history into events.""It is a stable solution.""The collaborating feature.""This solution is great for ad hoc video conferencing. It's so easy to start a meeting.""The initial setup was really straightforward and easy.""The most valuable features of Microsoft Teams are video conferencing, chat function, and the one that shows you that you've got new messages.""I find the ability to maintain group and conference information for project-related work useful.""It's great for meetings and even hybrid classes, for example, where the teacher has students attending in person and online at the same time. It's really convenient for that too, and I like that you can easily share presentations."

Cons
"In the next release, I would for it to incorporate files more efficiently from one computer to another when we covert things and send them out. I'm not sure if it's capable of that.""Sometimes we'll run into issues where firewall rules aren't set correctly and won't work.""The interface is a little outdated and could be better.""GoToMeeting is too slow, which is why we no longer use it.""Manageability needs to be improved.""I don't know whether it is an issue or not but my boss was asking me if person one is in one room, and another person wanted to use another room at the same time, I don't know whether it is possible.""I would like to see better support for mobile devices.""The solution could scale a bit easier if you need to add more people to meetings."

More GoToMeeting Cons →

"In terms of functionality, I would like to see support for multi-user or multiple windows for the File structure.""I don't like the online version of Word and Excel. It skews the layout. It is no longer representative of the layout that you actually have in a document. You always have to open it in the desktop application to get an accurate representation of how the document will look.""Inability to call into meetings.""Microsoft Teams could improve the integration with Outlook because most of us are not using the last version of Outlook and it causes some issues.""I'd like Microsoft to start adding more AI functionality into Teams.""The solution needs to have subtitles.""Microsoft Teams could improve because it is heavy on bandwidth. We have some access points and when we have 30 or 40 users on it with Microsoft Teams calls can drop. WebEx does not use as much bandwidth.""The product should provide a to-do list feature."
