We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It is a very user-friendly solution. I'm mainly working on Design Studio, which is useful for companies in tracking repeat users. The progressive proofing is also useful. It is not available in other solutions.""The most valuable feature of this solution is Smart Campaigns.""The main feature of Marketo is sending out emails, so that would be the most valuable feature.""I like that the solution is flexible.""The most valuable feature is the scoring.""The most valuable features are the Marketo emails, both sending and tracking.""The smart campaign looks quite interesting and useful.""The product has been stable."

"The platform is highly scalable.""We get very good support from SAP.""The primary use case for us is lead creation and data management.""The solution is highly scalable.""We are using the HANA Z database for CRM, which enhances the products we are currently using by making the system more efficient. Everything is connected to CRM, so we can use the data for analytics, sales forecasting, and data modeling.""The solution's contract management and product hierarchy features of SAP CRM are the most beneficial for our business operations.""SAP CRM is a scalable solution.""SAP is very easy to use."

Cons
"I had an issue while integrating JavaScript with forms. When you embed JavaScript, you can either embed it in a landing page or some other self-contained management system like WordPress. Currently, it provides you access to CSS, where you can customize your form design, but there is no option for JavaScript modification for a particular form. This area needs to be improved where you can integrate JavaScript, and it has the JavaScript functions for that particular form. There are a lot of other areas of improvement. In the design area, they can give us more testing options instead of relying on email testing alone. It would be great if they can provide responsive testing where email clients can be tested within Marketo. It would be also helpful if they can implement some in-built options for users or forms for blocking a generic email ID such as Yahoo or Gmail. Similarly, it would be helpful to have JavaScript features and forms as well as the option to add Google analytics and a header and footer for the landing pages.""Its APIs need to be more flexible because there are some things that are not available in the API.""For the moment, we migrated some of our processes to Marketo and implemented them there. We had some difficulties related to this.""Adobe, the parent company, needs to improve on getting more information published to allow users to educate themselves on how to use the solution.""Revenue management, attribution, and ABM can all be improved.""Marketo should give more power to the users for data manipulation.""It could be more scalable.""The user experience needs improvement, particularly in terms of ease of use and navigation between projects."

"As SAP CRM is still in its pilot version in my company, and my team is still experimenting on it, there's little room for exploration, but its setup is not as straightforward, so this could be an area for improvement.""SAP CRM could improve in the area of user-friendliness. It would help if you had an engineer to do the administration. The migration is complex when moving from the old version to the latest version.""The integration of SAP CRM with the SAP platform is relatively easier as compared to any other third-party product. If you go for any other third-party product, you will have a lot of challenges in terms of integration.""The implementation and integrations could be better. After we went into the production environment, we had some issues. Most of them were with the ERP integration. Many other issues were around the client's integrations between the ERP and CRM platforms. It could be more user-friendly. It wasn't very user-friendly initially, but now it's easier for them to use. Now, the users can use that platform better than at the beginning. We would like to see reports with more analytic features and artificial intelligence in the next release. For example, show more metrics and KPIs and more dynamic dashboards. Because the platform has some models, but it's not easy to use. It's a little complex.""What I see as a challenge against our competitor is that Salesforce comes with more flexibility, for enhancement purposes, whereas the SAP CRM Cloud is more robust and rigid. It's not flexible to implement any bespoke solution.""SAP CRM could improve by making the solution more current, it is out of date. There are no more updates for SAP CRM.""SAP must provide a demo system for the customers.""We would like the coding system within this solution to be more straightforward when carrying out general entry tasks."
