Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The way the ERP presents information for the user is very good.""The phone VoIP product provides genuine a unified communication solution.""Great impact on project management and team collaboration.""Most of the work that seems not to work offline works perfectly with Microsoft Office 2013, like converting a Word document to a PDF file.""The most valuable feature of this solution is the integration.""The most innovative feature of Office 365 is the Power Apps, which allows us to automate literally everything that we want automated. For example, sending attachments to specific folders on SharePoint, adding people's SharePoint when certain apps are performed, or emailing certain people at certain instances, such as when you've done a follow-up with the CRM and you need a marketing email to be sent out at a particular point.""I like that it is cloud-based, wherefrom any computer I can access my documents and continue working.""Using Office 365 has allowed us to go digital and onboard people seamlessly for working at home during the COVID pandemic."

"You can have multiple connections so that everybody can interact. You can change your background. If you're in your home and you don't want people to know what it looks like, you can pretty much change the background to any background that you want.""The screen-sharing capabilities are very good.""It always works, and they try to appeal to what the user wants. They added features like background music for those people who use Zoom for online church services. They try to make the solution more useful for the user. For example, I tried to sell WebEx to a church, but I also gave them Zoom for a trial. They were impressed with that because that was the feature they were looking for.""Zoom is a stable solution.""The most valuable feature is that it's free.""The installation was easy.""It functions well. I have had no issues with attaching files to chats.""The platform has a solid feature for scheduling short meetings worth 30 minutes."

Cons
"We have had some connectivity issues.""Office 365 could allow for smoother collaboration with other companies, which is the main reason we use it. The B2B connection is something we need, like global adverse lists between two tenants or multiple users. That's what we're missing at the moment.""Normally, they have a way to work with specific developments, and I think they shouldn't allow the partners to make some changes they have made. When I have a client with a lot of changes, we have a problem with that because there aren't rules to develop inside the ERP, so you can do anything.""It seems like every other week when we log into the administrative portals, it doesn't matter which one, it could be the active directory portal, it could be the exchange admin center or SharePoint admin center, it seems like Microsoft is consistently updating with new versions of the admin centers, which can be frustrating.""It needs improvements around its compatibility with non-Microsoft products.""Microsoft Word is a little bit left behind regarding the tools it has.""Microsoft Defender for Office 365 could use some customization, but this area for improvement is trivial.""Constantly evolving with new features, which can be challenging for users."

More Office 365 Cons →

"The pricing could be improved.""They may need to scale it some more in terms of global users.""Lacks an indicator on chat to show that a message has been read.""One thing that Zoom can improve is the chat. You can send messages to a specific person without messaging everyone. But everyone sees the whole chat if the administrator lets them see the chat. Maybe they could add an option to let you open a private conversation on the side with a person.""When you are connected to one device and you're going to log into another one, Zoom should ask you to transfer without having to disconnect you.""While Zoom calls are great for talking and chatting, they often lack follow-up on action items and collaboration. Most of the time, it's just talking and listening without much progress. There's a missing piece in these tools. About 90 percent of those calls could be replaced by other tools that focus more on the deliverables that make a real impact rather than just being another wasted meeting. It doesn't improve collaboration.""I would like to see them develop end-to-end encryption, like WhatsApp. That would improve the security of the software.""Zoom can improve the user-friendliness of the management when you are doing a webinar."
