We performed a comparison between Webex and Zoom based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Virtual Meetings solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."One of the most valuable features of Webex was that it was easy to use and there were no hassles."
"The installation is not difficult."
"The product's initial setup phase was straightforward."
"Cisco is a pioneer in this particular technology. The features and technology have been adopted and they have been integrated with other solutions."
"A valuable feature of Webex is that it's good for direct communication. In general, I'm satisfied."
"The solution makes it easy for us as a team to collaborate remotely."
"I have found the most valuable features to be the high quality of the video and the audio. Additionally, the graphical user interface is good and it is easy to use."
"WebEx provides the option to record the chat or delete it. You can also dial into the video on your mobile to communicate with the engineer or whoever. One aspect we like most is that the audio is clear. That is one of the most valuable features of WebEx."
"The most valuable features of Zoom are voice and camera clarity. The time latency of the response is good. The facility to view all the participants who are online is a benefit. In most of the other similar solutions, they too have this feature. However, since I have used Zoom, I find it as an advantage because you can see all the participants online and you can choose."
"When there is a large number of people involved, I can pinpoint a particular person and I can message him in Zoom, rather than messaging everybody involved. I can directly communicate with that person and I find that feature very useful."
"Zoom helps us because it provides a whiteboard during the meeting. This is a very good feature."
"Screen sharing is valuable. It is very easy to install, and there are 45 minutes free of charge."
"There are lots of great features available to every user."
"It's pretty easy to connect to anybody through a scheduled meeting."
"The most valuable feature is push notifications"
"This is the easiest product to use for videoconferencing."
"The interconnectivity of all of the solution's facilities and functions can be more complex than that which is involved in basic configuration, when equipment, telephone extensions or other mobile apps are thrown into the mix."
"Price is a little high."
"They should work to make it simpler."
"My company does a lot of international calls. For some countries they do not have their local number to call in, all they have is a 1-800 number which is quite hard to find. If they want to improve they should set up the local number to call in. What would be beneficial."
"Webex's stability could be improved."
"We switched from Webex to Teams because there was a lag in the WebEx experience and also a lack of integration. Easy integration with a free email account like Microsoft or Google would be helpful."
"The solution should come as a big client for the system. It should be able to be used just like chat software when necessary, similar to instant messaging."
"Cisco could maybe make Webex more integrated and compatible with other platforms."
"When anyone installs Zoom for organizational purposes, then it's fine because all the safety and protection is taken care of by the organization. However, when it's done on a personal basis the terms and conditions, you are not secure."
"Sometimes can get confused about which password setting or parameter setting to use. For example, if I want to issue a Zoom meeting to my team members or perhaps sometimes I want them to issue a Zoom directly when I receive the Zoom accounts from our IT department, I don't know how to enable or disable these features in the Zoom. I think it's a personal issue I have."
"Troubleshooting can be complicated."
"They need to improve the background feature, to be able to set a background without interfering with the current background."
"I would like to be able to have multiple users open and collaborate on a document at the same time."
"Security is something Zoom lacks. If you're trying to get proprietary buy-in and enterprise buy-in, security is the top priority. And even though the user interface is simple, every solution could use a tune-up in that department."
"There were some security issues early on, however, they have fixed the problem, and now it is fine."
"Zoom could improve by being more user-friendly."

My comments about Zoom:
The Pros:
- It allows you to schedule any meeting and invites your meeting members at a particular date & time with Meeting Id & Password.
- It allows organizing multiple meetings, to carry out online meetings, file sharing, webinars & group messaging.
- Through the Zoom application, users are given the option to connect to more than one conference room, include more attendees remotely, and conduct face-to-face meetings.
- Zoom offers both native mobile (iOS & Andrioid)and desktop versions that let users collaborate & connect remotely.
- It allows us to record video chat and look at them at a later date & time.
- Whiteboard is a good feature for having a meeting in which everyone can join to type or draw, and write.
If we have a brainstorming-type meeting, we can share our own ideas with the whiteboard.
- Zoom recently implemented a Microsoft Office add-in, which means we can now schedule Zoom meetings without having to go into the Zoom app.
The Cons (from my experience using in Melbourne, Australia):
- Have encountered Slow response sometimes when participants are joining from different geographical locations.
- The Free Version allows having a conference call for 40 minutes. Price could be an issue for the Paid Version.
