    Overview

    Uses a policy-based approach to control access to data, SmartGuard intercepts user requests for access to large data stores, and dynamically applies powerful policies. These policies are fine-grained and features dynamic filtering and dynamic data masking for datasets, tables, columns, rows and cells.

    Optim Data Privacy supports Format Preserving Encryption (FPE) and is based on the Advanced Encryption Standard 256-bit (AES-256) algorithm providing the capability to produce unique masked values that are extremely varied and without a discernible pattern.
