Scalability
The NVRs provide scalable, internal storage for medium and large-scale installations. The system is designed to scale to thousands of cameras with additional NVRs, workstations, Kollector DVRs or any of the ViconNet VMS products. The NVRs are available in both desktop and rack-mount configuration*.Both the desktop and the rack- mount units are available without any internal storage drives and configured for external SAN-RAID storage using an iSCSI network connection. As an alternative option, the NVR Shadow is available that provides internal RAID in a variety of storage sizes.
