Overview
TIBCO ActiveSpaces is a low-latency, secure, distributed, in-memory data storage technology that can also function as a system of record for terabytes of operational data. TIBCO ActiveSpaces on the one hand, stores it's data in memory on a cluster of machines for fast read access, and on the other hand, it provides distributed persistence on local file systems for very fast write performance.Windows Process Activation Service generalizes the Internet Information Services (IIS) process model, removing the dependency on HTTP. All the features of IIS that were previously available only to HTTP applications are now available to applications hosting Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services, by using non-HTTP protocols. IIS 7.0 also uses Windows Process Activation Service for message-based activation over HTTP.
