Pulse Connect Secure plays a key role in outside access to corporate resources. When others want to implement the solution for the first time, they should collect complete information. For example, they should know the reasons they want to allow access to the connection from outside to inside when the user connects. They should know what resources are needed to provide access to the particular user.

When integrating the solution to the domain it should not be done with the local authentication, but it should be integrated with the domain authentication with some spare policy for the domain users, such as every 30 days the password should expire or need to be changed. They should use multifactor authentication.

I rate Pulse Connect Secure a seven out of ten.

The way Ivanti Connect Secure is implemented for secure access to our company's corporate network from various devices and locations is something that I don't know about. I know that the secure access part is implemented in our environment with the two-factor authentication process so that our company can have a secure network with credentials and authentication either with RSA Token or Google Authenticator.

The most valuable feature of Ivanti Connect Secure, which I found to be impactful on the User experience part, stems from the fact that with the tool, I get to use Ivanti Tunnel or VPN to gauge our customer's networks, making it an easy experience since Ivanti provides a landing page. The landing page can be easy or complex based on the implementation, but for me, it is easy.

I am very much used to the product, so it won't even take me more than 30 seconds to get into a network, making the tool very easy for me to operate.

Whether or not improvements are required in Ivanti Connect Secure depends on the way users implement the VPN in their environments while also considering the amount of scalability that the VPN can offer. When I implemented Ivanti Connect Secure, I found it to be scalable enough.

Ivanti's endpoint security of compliance check-in features enhances security posture, which is something that is not used in our company. The tool is only used for VPN.

The benefits of using the product will ensure that it would be difficult to get into the product's customers' network since the tool will ensure that a more secure process is in place. For whichever customers I have implemented the product, I have seen that they did not previously have a solution to secure their network and provide them with the landing zone.

Speaking of how the product's scalability has supported our organization's growth stems from the fact that the tool offers more in the area of security. If you want to make your system or network secure, Ivanti helps, especially if you need to have an SSL VPN.

I haven't seen any significant incidents in the last five years where Ivanti's support was critical.

I rate the overall tool a seven to eight out of ten.

I recommend this product because Pure Connect Secure is doing the job well. The GUI seems easy, and the deployment is straightforward compared to other OEMs. There are not many issues with the product right now.

On a scale from one to ten, I would give Pulse Connect Secure an eight.

Currently, my organization uses PRA (Privileged Remote Access), Pulse Connect Secure for the VPN, and Palo Alto GlobalProtect.

My organization is a user, not a reseller.

Ivanti acquired Pulse Connect Secure, so I don't remember the exact version I'm on because my organization upgraded to Ivanti. Though the infrastructure works similarly, the graphics, banners, and logos changed.

I'm responsible for Pulse Connect Secure maintenance, but I have a backup person who takes charge when I'm unavailable, for example, when I'm on leave. That backup person also has his box, which I handle when he's on leave. So I'd say two people take care of the maintenance of Pulse Connect Secure.

One thousand five hundred people use Pulse Connect Secure within the university; the staff comprises eighty percent, and students comprise the remaining twenty percent. Everyone in the university has used Pulse Connect Secure since the pandemic started.

The university now has another solution that provides the same service for free, so there is no plan to increase the usage of Pulse Connect Secure.

My advice to others planning to use Pulse Connect Secure is that it's very stable and easy to manage, so you should go with this product. I also used to work with Norton, and I still like Norton as a product because it's very stable, unlike Cisco, and Norton is very easy to upgrade. It's a good system if you're looking for a VPN, but if you need multiple integrations from a VPN, then Pulse Connect Secure is a good solution versus Norton.

As I've been using the solution for over five years, from that perspective and my understanding of how to configure and support it, based on my knowledge of Pulse Connect Secure, I can rate it as eight out of ten.

We are a customer and an end-user.

Last year, this solution was bought by Ivanti. Now it's called Ivanti Connect Secure. Basically, it's been the same product since 2007. It's still the same product yet it has been evolving, of course.

We are using the latest version of the solution.

I'd advise potential new users to do some homework on what network resources they want to present to their users, and what will be the conditions they will impose on their end-users as for users' credentials, for example, multi-factor authentication for start. Also, they should look at the host checking on their client PCs. For example, they need to consider what will be the conditions to access certain resources, as that will be important for their configuration at the outset.

I'd rate the solution an eight out of ten.

This product is good and easy to maintain if one can manage without the products' support team and have their administrative team. If you want to implement a new feature or interaction with the product, it gets complicated, or help is needed.

I rate the overall product a six out of ten.

About fifty people use Pulse Connect Secure within the company.

My company decided to use Pulse Connect Secure because it had all the required security features, it was easy to connect to it, and it's a standard solution in the market.

My advice for first-time users of Pulse Connect Secure is to try it out. What you should do is shortlist two to three good providers then implement it on a small subset of users for a short period, then evaluate the solution based on your use case, and then, depending on the outcome, you should implement Pulse Connect Secure on a larger user base.

You should always go and implement the solution on a smaller subset of users first, then do a proof of concept and verify how Pulse Connect Secure works and if it does work out, and then roll the solution out to a larger set of users. Your rollout of the solution should be scattered, so you can see if there's a real impact from using Pulse Connect Secure.

It's a solution I would recommend to others.

My rating for Pulse Connect Secure is nine out of ten.

From what I know, I'm using the latest version of Pulse Connect Secure because the IT department keeps on updating the software automatically.

More than fifty thousand employees use Pulse Connect Secure in my organization.

What I would tell others looking into using the solution is that it's easy to install and use, so why not use Pulse Connect Secure?

My rating for Pulse Connect Secure is eight out of ten.

From my research and experiences, I would say that this is not the best solution on the market, but it is one of the best. When it comes to setting up a super-secret connection, it may not be possible to make it much easier. I think that when it comes to a secret connection with two-factor authentication, you need to follow the steps.

The only real complaint that I have about Pulse Connect Secure is the instability that comes from the disconnections.

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

I can safely say this is one of the best solutions I have seen for VPN access. It can achieve what other vendors may not be able to. This product will train you about exactly what an SSL should be. You can leverage it to do whatever you wish, the way you wish to do it. This is the solution if you want a perfectly scalable product for your enterprise that can help your mobile users and integrate with the latest technologies.

I would rate it a ten out of ten.
