About me

With more than 20 Years of IT experience spanning Mainframes to Distributed systems, from technical roles to sales operations I have a sound foundation of the IT industry both in New Zealand and Australia. Most recently I was Country Manager for CommVault Systems and was responsible for Strategy and Plan for New Zealand accounts, and partners. In FY 2014 the team I worked with all made Achievers Club.

I have worked for the past 12 Years in Sales oriented roles and have a deep understanding of relationship management and software sales. I have been successful in working for vendors with both direct and indirect solution selling. I have been awarded numerous times for keeping the business moving in New Zealand and have extensive knowledge of the IT market landscape.

I have a good deal of experience in all aspects sales cycles including Lead/Pipeline Generation, Presentations, RFP/Proposal Management, CRM Management, Reporting, Negotiation, Contract Leads, Closure and reviews. I am currently studying for a Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations.

On my personal side, I like a laugh, enjoy fishing (Both Salt and Fresh Water), currently I have 12 Single Malts and my collection is growing. I am currently the secretary for the Otaihanga Boating Club. I live on the wonderful Kapiti Coast of New Zealand, have a supportive wife (due to Work,Fishing and Whisky) and two Teenage boys (3 in 2015 due to a Japanese Exchange student)
