"To improve, I feel the disk management is too basic. I can't easily partition the disk for the operating system. I have to follow the main configuration that is already set up in the template. To partition the disk, I would need to deploy the operating system first and then make changes, but it's not an ideal method. I would recommend improving the disk management."
"Currently, there is limited support available while installing or configuring it, and resources are primarily available through community-contributed articles."
"I don't see this solution as enterprise-ready, for bigger companies like banks."
"When you need to add some custom rules to Amazon Lightsail, the auto scaling feature is a bit difficult."
"One improvement that would be helpful is the addition of a replication option on their Standard Edition OD service. Currently, this option is not available, which leads many customers to move to the Enterprise edition. However, other cloud service providers, such as Amazon AWS offer replication options at a similar tier. It would be beneficial if Oracle also explored providing this option for their Standard Edition service."
"Database instances and computer storage are areas with shortcomings in the product that need improvement."
"The framework from AWS is so good, I would like to see this feature in OCI."
"Managed services for Postgres are not available in Oracle Cloud."
"The product roadmap strategy for some of the products is not clear."
"Oracle Cloud is not a user-friendly tool. From an improvement perspective, I want Oracle Cloud to be more user-friendly."
"Specific to the Oracle Cloud; while they have been able to showcase inbuilt features for Oracle applications, what doesn't really come across clearly is what happens when you want to host, work with, or integrate with applications outside of the Oracle stack."
"This service is very specific to Oracle and we cannot have other types of workloads on Oracle Cloud."
