We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The two main features that prove most beneficial for us are URL scanning and attachment scanning.""Does a thorough job of examining email and URLs for malicious content.""The good part is that you don't have to configure it, which is very convenient.""Our customers are satisfied with Defender for 365 because Microsoft products are easy to use and customize to meet the client's needs. Everything is in one place, so we can adjust policies as needed for phishing, DLP, ATP, or any other security features that our clients want to apply.""Defender enables us to secure all 365-related activity from a single place. It gives us visibility into everything happening in Outlook, protecting us against phishing and other email-based threats. Defender helps us detect any suspicious behaviors.""Microsoft Defender for Office 365 is a stable solution.""It also gives the vulnerability status according to the versions you have selected. Let's say you have Google Chrome. It mentions the versions it has, and it updates. Within two hours of an update, it is reflected in the dashboard. That's really nice to have.""Threat Explorer is an invaluable tool for me, and it plays a crucial role in helping me discern the origins of various email campaigns, pinpointing where they emanate from, and identifying the individuals within our organization who are affected."

"Check Point offers us flexibility when it comes to customizing the configurations that we want to manage, thus allowing us to meet the specific needs of our company.""Using Check Point has helped us to safeguard our environment and help to protect against spam, as well as other types of attacks against our network.""A scalable, stable solution with good technical support.""Check Point Anti-Spam and Email Security Software Blade provides an extra level of security against threats and malware along with 2FA support for multiple platform collaboration and integrations in a single click.""It helped us to achieve process compliance with over 90% effectiveness.""It has provided us with an easy way to avoid invasive mail.""I like the flexible configuration set, e.g. both the content-based and the IP reputation anti-spam are supported, but you may choose to disable the mechanism you don't like.""It does a better job of recognizing spammers."

"Unlike other competitors, it doesn't cause any performance issues.""The most valuable features of Forcepoint Email Security are the integration with other solutions. It provides a more secure infrastructure and views for the customers from the DLP. You can work on URLs, files, and advanced inspections that will protect the customers.""Using Forcepoint, we have created policies and rules for any suspicious mail. It is blocked and only released by an admin's approval.""I like how versatile the options are. For example, we can set it where we are able to access and browse Facebook but we are denied the ability to post photos. There is also that ability integrate with Office 365 - SharePoint app.""The feature I find most valuable is the web, email and DLP integration.""The filtering of the solution is very good. You can do URL filtering and, while you need a custom URL to filter under other solutions like Symantec, here the solution covers most categories and the database.""It is good at data leakage prevention (DLP). You can create the data exfiltration profile while sending the emails, which is one of the key advantages of the solution.""The Forcepoint Email Security roadmap easily integrates with the data loss prevention (DLP) suite of Forcepoint. Therefore, the customer doesn't have to buy another solution for DLP."

Cons
"The only thing they should improve is the licensing model. They should stop changing it. A year ago, the five features I mentioned were included in one product. Now, three of them are bundled into one product, and you have to pay extra for the other two. I don't mind paying extra, but I don't want them to change it every year or every six months. I need to know what I'm looking at and not worry about it next year.""The GUI is sometimes slow to fetch the device report and could be improved.""One area for improvement is integration. For example, when it comes to external SaaS platforms, we were not able to get a lot of information on integrations with such apps for security and authentication.""They can improve their security in a way where a customer can know if all their attachments are safe or not to open through a report. The solution does its job perfectly, but it never reports to the customer whether those attachments have been stopped before or not.""There needs to be an improvement in integrating the product to work across multiple operating systems, and to have better support for non-Microsoft file types.""They have moved features from one console to another. Things have been moved around in the interface and it takes me time to find where certain features are.""Microsoft Defender for Office 365 must improve the overall management style, including the GUI. It also needs to change the filters so that it is easy to whitelist and blacklist data.""Microsoft security solutions work as expected. They are constantly updating the solutions to make them better. At the same time, the changes can impact a customer's environment, and we need to adjust settings. Sometimes we aren't aware of the changes, and nothing is pushed from the backend automatically."

More Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Cons →

"Mobile solutions should be added to Check Point because business email is also used by users on mobile devices.""There could be an extension of the trial period to 60 days.""If you face any configuration problems, Check Point is the only solution.""I can say that the solution's price level is a problematic area that needs to be considered for improvement.""It is expensive but worth it.""AI-based threat detection could be enhanced to improve security.""In my book, more and more customized integrations could be made available so that different kinds of mail servers and cloud servers can be internally integrated for real-time system flow and security enablement.""The solution's technical support is an area with shortcomings that need to be improved for the better."

More Check Point Anti-Spam and Email Security Software Blade Cons →

"It's quite difficult to learn this solution, it's not an entry level product. If you are a skilled user you will think it's a very useful tool, but if you are not a skilled user, you'll think it is very difficult to learn.""An area for improvement in Forcepoint Email Security is technical support. The agents need to be more knowledgeable. The support also needs to be faster.""I would like to see some improvement like cloud application and integration capabilities and the classification part is missing from the DLP.""We've fixed a couple of issues on the solution so far. It doesn't work perfectly all the time.""The solution could use better integration capabilities.""Technical support is lacking. It could be a lot better.""It would be better if it were simpler to deploy on one or two machines instead of three or four machines.""Customer support could be better."
