"Main products are portable.""The UI is very useful.""You need to make an architectural runway before actually starting to implement Docker Compose, especially in a distributed environment.""The most valuable feature is its ease of use.""The most valuable aspect is the excellent support. In addition, the billing system is really easy to understand.""I like the automation in deployment. I can deploy whenever I want based on the environment, and I can easily roll back to a previous version for testing.""Very easy solution to use as it is intuitive.""The solution is scalable and we have plans to increase usage in the future."

Cons
"An area for improvement is that CoreOS Clair doesn't provide information about the location of vulnerabilities it detects."

More CoreOS Clair Cons →

"An improvement would be automated testing.""There are a couple of things. Firstly, the vaultStore database within Container isn't as efficient as a standalone Container vault. This needs improvement.""With the Mirantis runtime being removed from Kubernetes, which is the industry-wide standard for orchestration of containers, I think it's going in a direction that is not super scalable.""I would also like to see more features inside Docker as well as more integration with different solutions.""This solution is open-source and they need to focus on improving the Linux Operating Systems' GUI. It does not have a GUI making it not user-friendly. Additionally, the containers need to improve security and compliance.""Sometimes the basic support is a bit difficult if you have a firewall and cloud servers behind the firewall and then try to implement the backup solution, it is a bit difficult to do by yourself.""It will be better if the product provides dynamic load-balancing capabilities.""When it comes to the integration part, it's the basic functionality, but for any product, at the end of the day, security is extremely relevant. I personally feel like you have to constantly strive towards being more secure. You can never be 100% secure, and you have to work more toward security. It's as simple as that."

    Overview

Clair is an open source project for the static analysis of vulnerabilities in appc and docker containers.

Vulnerability data is continuously imported from a known set of sources and correlated with the indexed contents of container images in order to produce lists of vulnerabilities that threaten a container. When vulnerability data changes upstream, the previous state and new state of the vulnerability along with the images they affect can be sent via webhook to a configured endpoint. All major components can be customized programmatically at compile-time without forking the project.

    Reviews from Real Users

Mirantis Container Cloud stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its deployment of images and the portability of its containers. PeerSpot users take note of the advantages of these features in their reviews:

Cristina C., Test Architect at a tech services company, writes of the solution, “The idea that you can configure an image, deploy it, and it can be reused and redeployed with the same setup over and over again is a valuable feature.

A DevOps Engineer at a tech services company, notes, “I like that Mirantis’ main products of containers are very portable. Any possible issues, problems, or troubles are fixed with improvements of the platform itself. Any constraints that Mirantis [has], have been fixed with other products or features that Mirantis provides.”
