Find out in this report how the two Log Management solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."It has scaled great. I haven't run into any problems anywhere that I've used it. They have handled everything that we have needed them to."
"The fact that everything is under a single pane of glass is really valuable, as developers don't have to spend their time copying correlation IDs across tools to find what they need."
"We've been able to glean from the monitors what servers are down, and can alert the team in Slack."
"Datadog's ability to group and visualize the servers and the data makes it relatively easy for the root cause analysis."
"The RUM solution has improved our ability to triage faster and hand more capabilities to our customer support."
"Using the data, our operation teams works with the dashboards to get their statistics, analytics, etc."
"The tools are powerful and intuitive to set up."
"The ease of correcting these dashboards and widgets when needed is amazing."
"LogDNA consolidates all logs into one place, which is super valuable."
"The solution aggregates all event streams, so that if there are any issues, it's all in the same interface."
"Since the Datadog platform has so many separate features, solving so many use cases, there are often inconsistencies in feature availability and interoperability between products."
"At the beginning, when we started throwing logs at it, there was a bit of hiccup. However, this was during their beta period, so hiccups were expected."
"The real issue with this product is cost control."
"The incident management beta looks promising, but it is still missing the ability to automatically create incidents based on certain alerts."
"I find the training great. That said, it is set for the LCD (lowest common denominator). Of course, this is very helpful to sell the product, yet, to really utilize the product, you need to get more detailed."
"Lacks some flexibility in the customization."
"The product is quite complex, and there are so many features that I either didn't know about or wasn't sure how to use."
"The pricing is a bit confusing."
"No ability to encapsulate a query or a filter, and communicate or share that among the team."
"Every once in a while, our IBM cloud operational implementation gets behind. Sometimes, when we have a customer event, we do not get access to the latest logs for about 30 minutes, particularly for the sites that are heavily utilized. This is clearly not good. It is impossible to RCA when you can't look at the logs that pertain to the time period in which the event occurred. It could be more of an operational problem than a feature problem. I don't have visibility about whether it is a LogDNA issue or just an operational issue."
