We performed a comparison between Infoblox Advanced DNS Protection and Skyhigh Security based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about Cisco, Infoblox, TitanHQ and others in Domain Name System (DNS) Security."It is a stable solution."
"Grid high availability technology ensured network reliability, resilient network services, failover, recovery, and seamless maintenance."
"I like that Infoblox Advanced DNS Protection is one hundred percent good, performance-wise."
"The most valuable features of Infoblox Advanced DNS Protection are the services, DHCP, and debugging. Additionally, we can use APIs and ansible scripts."
"The security of the solution is perfect. It's very good at protecting us from attacks."
"The most valuable feature of Infoblox Advanced DNS Protection is its performance and visibility."
"Centralized management of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM helped us a lot in simplifying and automating the management of network and services."
"Infoblox offers granularity and advanced DNS protection to mitigate DNS attacks. It's a very secure solution."
"It also prevents you from writing data to your Gmail and does not allow you to move your data outside of the corporate system. That is the most important feature for me."
"Skyhigh performs well, and we can choose from virtual and hardware plans. We can deploy the ISO on as many virtual machines as possible and easily set up high availability on the web proxy. The location doesn't matter. The user at a site will always access the web proxy for that location. It's suitable for an organization distributed across multiple regions."
"What's most valuable in Skyhigh Security is its level of security. Another valuable feature of the solution is threat analysis."
"Good anti-virus filtering, URL categorization, and reporting capabilities."
"DLP policies and anomalies."
"It help us monitor high risk services, blocking them, and also feeding them to our egress points."
"The product has a very high rating from reviewers. It's a well-respected product."
"They were very, very aggressive in the market to get a new market share or to take over market share while other companies were being broken up."
"The solution is expensive."
"There needs to be more capabilities in order to configure the console itself instead of the user interface dashboard. Configuring the DNS or DHCP through the console instead of the GUI dashboard would be better."
"They should release frequent updates for its on-premises version."
"The solution's logging could be improved."
"There should be better alerts for when attacks are happening."
"The service monitoring information could be simplified of this appliance and the information displayed on the dashboards could be improved. I have not found one dashboard to be perfect. For example, in Splunk, I can create a dashboard in Grafana. However, in Grafana, it takes a very long time to create them. There should be another API to do it better."
"Infoblox Advanced DNS Protection could be more user-friendly because you need knowledge if you want to use it. To handle the solution, you need to be a subject matter expert, so this is one area for improvement."
"The price could be reduced to improve the solution."
"De-tokenization."
"One area for improvement I've seen in Skyhigh Security is that it lacks support for unsanctioned applications, where customers have their applications. Those applications do not come from Microsoft or other popular vendors. For example, Microsoft has support for Teams and it has support for OneDrive, but it doesn't have support for custom applications built by customers. Customers have internal teams building and publishing applications to the external world, but Skyhigh Security doesn't have support for those applications, and this is the main problem I've seen. The solution only supports a pool of applications that are from Microsoft and other major SaaS vendors. McAfee doesn't provide support for custom applications, compared to other vendors who provide it. For example, Bitglass and Netskope both have support for custom applications. Another area for improvement in Skyhigh Security is that its API support is a little weak. I also have not seen a strong integration between the solution and other McAfee products."
"Needs integration with other technology ecosystems."
"The pricing of the solution could be adjusted to make it more reasonable."
"User interface could be more intuitive."
"The services take some time to load. It would be helpful if the loading time was reduced."
"Its initial setup could be more straightforward."
"They could be integrated with CASB. I think normally McAfee has this solution in the cloud, but for us the best is on-premise."
