We performed a comparison between Informatica MDM and Informatica Supplier 360 based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about Informatica, TIBCO, Reltio and others in Cloud Master Data Management (MDM) Solutions."I like the number of options that are presented with Informatica, fuzzy matching, and your screen."
"It gives you accountability to centralize your data and have it available to different applications."
"It has improved our organization because it has made our data more reliable. Data is the most important asset these days, and in order to trust your data, you need these tools to make sure that your data is clean and reliable."
"MDM is very stable - it can handle millions of hits daily and still run 24/7."
"I like that Informatica MDM has robust matching technology. Informatica MDM is also porting the external Java applications for validations. I can consider that a must-have. It is also exposed to Rest API calls, and we can engage in real-time integrations with any third-party systems."
"I think the integration feature is probably one of the key features in Informatica MDM...Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"It comes with lot of features and is a one-stop-shop solution for integration, data modeling, and data governance. Everything can be built under one particular umbrella. If any issues come up, then there won't be any blame game saying that it could be an integration issue or an MDM hub issue because it's wholly owned by Informatica. That's the biggest advantage of Informatica MDM over that of any other tools that are available on the market."
"It has flexibility in extending the data model."
"It's got a reputation in the industry as one of the best solutions for master data management. So, it's what we see in the Gartner top right quadrant as the best product in that space."
"The advertising makes promises about data analytics that it does not keep."
"We currently have issues with real-time integration."
"The tool should provide a unified user interface to manage the data objects."
"The cost of Informatica MDM is expensive and has room for improvement."
"We cannot sell the product directly with an additional layer."
"The biggest pain point for us is the documentation. Typically, you have to go through knowledge forums and knowledge groups to find out about the syntax issues for interfacing with new products. Typically, you've got to deal with someone who has been through the pain before. Their documents are not really up to date with current innovations happening in the industry. As big as they are, you can't really expect it, but that's our pain point."
"This is a costly solution. We have several customers who evaluate it but then look for other solutions because of the cost. At present, Informatica MDM comes as an on-premises or cloud-based solution. I would like to see them offer a SaaS-based MDM model. I think they are working on it."
"Data integration should be improved."
"We'd like to see the microservices, which don't run yet because the solution is not yet fully cloud-based."
