For Corero SmartWall, the failure of a link is not the failure of all the links. The saturation of one link does not affect the scanning of other links. This is because one SmartWall appliance does not affect its processing compared to other links, because it is simply separated.

The advantage lies precisely in that Corero adopts each link with a SmartWall independently in scanning, i.e., each link has its own SmartWall Threat Defense Appliance. The installation and maintenance work carried out on a single link does not impact the others links.  

Finally, each SmartWall device has an out-of-band management interface. Thanks to this, the centralized management component CMS can manage the entire solution.
