Panda Adaptive Defense 360 Initial Setup

The setup is pretty easy. Deployment takes less than an hour. It's typically connected to the console, so it has already downloaded the latest and greatest updates or file hashes. Creating groups and policies for those groups can be a little complex but once you've got all that figured out, then you're good. The console needs a lot of help. Even downloading the installer for a new deployment on a PC is not very straightforward.

My company helps our customers implement the product in their environment by helping them with the deployment process by making a login account on the solution, after which we configure the rule and profile. My company uses Panda Adaptive Defense 360 with ART to ensure that we get the capabilities of EDR and advanced reporting tools.

The product's deployment phase was easy.

This is a simple solution to set up. It's easy to implement, install and configure. We didn't have any issues with it and didn't find it to be difficult.

I'd rate the initial setup 4.5 out of five.

The solution offers completely web-based installations. You have only to install it on one PC in an entire network. It allows you to mark every other workstation as possible clients or the software. You can click in solution and simply make different configurations between the installations. It's pretty straightforward. It's not too complex.

The initial setup is straightforward. How long deployment takes depends on the customer. Smaller deployments can take as little as a day while bigger ones take about a week.

The initial setup is pretty complex. It's not straightforward. They were not meant to be set up for the MSP model, which is month to month. They're more based on an old model, which involves buying so many licenses for the computer. It's hard to do. They haven't really upgraded their methods, at least for the last three years.

I couldn't even use the systems management because it wasn't a part of the license. Their patch management still isn't up to date and ready for the MSP side of things. There are parts of the whole process that are just off.

The setup process is very simple and straightforward.

As long as you have a common admin user across the computers in your network, it goes ahead and discovers everything, and you can assign one of the systems as a management system, and you can push the agent to all the systems. You don't have to go to each and every system to deploy the agent; that's really a pain.

The console is managed from the cloud. It's deployed on the endpoint, which is the laptop of the user.

I'd rate the ease of deployment eight out of ten.

I rate Panda Security Adaptive Defense 10 out of 10 for ease of setup. It's very straightforward. Deploying the solution on each new computer and server takes about 10 minutes. One person is enough to deploy it.

It is easy to set up the solution. It's not overly complex.

It took maybe a week to deploy it to the whole company.

We were able to deploy it through email or the Active Directory. It can also be installed manually. The setup is flexible.

You only need one or two people to deploy and maintain the solution. We have engineers that can handle these tasks.

The implementation was difficult. When installing Panda Security Adaptive Defense on a customer's PC, it must download the agent and then run agent files to set up the product.

It is easier than other endpoint protection solutions. The installation takes around 5 to 10 minutes, but we need to wait for a bit to connect to the cloud. It takes more than a day to set it up for a new company because it involves setting up security and policies.

The setup is really easy, you only install the Panda Security Adaptive agent, and it will show you the basic information about the system. Then you can switch to whatever you want function you need, like to manually run the scans and force the system to update itself. The program is really easy to maintain.

The initial setup is not complex. Once you go through the setup of one console, it is easy to use. But it always depends on the customer. How many applications they have to allow requires additional setup.

It is remarkably easy to deploy.

The time it takes to deploy depends on the customer infrastructure of course. I think a medium 1000 endpoint infrastructure could take around one day. You can use the group policy if you integrate with a local domain or something. They provide several tools to deploy it. It's nice.

The amount of people required to deploy depends on the complexity of the infrastructure. If you have branch offices or sub-networks distributed regionally or geographically, you probably will need more than one person.

If you have Active Directory across multi-domain distribution and so on, your team should be more than one person. For smaller customers, I assume one well-trained security person could do the work in one day.
