They are both market leaders; however, I would recommend Velocloud as it is significantly more cost-effective. How many sites does this involve? How are they currently handling security at all sites? Are they running voice over IP?

About me

I have held a variety of leadership roles during my 28 years in the IT / telecom industry at Fortune 500 organizations such as AT&T, OBS, BT, Avaya... and startups. I am a Senior Manager of Product Management / Sales Engineers. I was also the Director of tech. Svcs. at Digital Knowledge Svcs. (A Cisco and MS training and consulting company).

• As a Senior Manager of Product Management / Sales Engineers, I was in charge of 5 Product Line Managers, Solutions Architects / sales engineers (Cloud (IaaS, SaaS, Security, UCaaS…), 16 Datacenters, and migration services…I also had 12 other SA (Generalist) that had a dotted line to me.

• I launched the cloud services from scratch ($0 to $35 million per year). Including business plan, marketing plan, forecasting, operations…and P&L responsibility for the entire cloud product line.

• I founded, and ran my own successful Cisco, and Microsoft training ( CCNA&CCNP), and consulting company (Digital Knowledge Services) nationwide.

• At British Telecom (BT) Radianz, I was in charge of the implementation / Service delivery team in the Midwest (6 post sales engineers)

• At Equant / France Telecom / OBS, I was in charge of all Post-sales / implementation in the Midwest that billed $6 million and above.

• I Lead product development; IT, pre-sales engineers, and operations, to ensure product goals are met in a timely manner.

• I played a key role at Windstream to launch their Cloud computing services.

• At AT&T, OBS and Avaya I was very successful at becoming a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies such as Caterpillar, ADM, OfficeMax, United Airlines, United Stationers, Hyatt and many more.
