Hi, I've got experience just in Cisco Wireless Produts, I don't know about Alcatel/Lucent Products. I'd choose Cisco because of their Global Leadership and know-how. They invest a lot in Development of new technologies and I think it will be the best choice for you.

Great knowledge in Networks LAN/WLAN/WAN. I have been working many years for Medium and Large companies in Brazil implementing, maintaining and projecting IT infrastructures. I am Cisco Certified since 2003, and I have at all more than 15 years of Network Experience. Now also certified ITIL, CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNA Wireless, CCNP, CCIE Written, LPIC-1 and others specified ahead.
I have been working for a long time at TOTVS (The Largest Software Company in Latin America) with Network Consulting, Project Management, Team Coordination including large practical experience in IT Governance and ITIL. I am acting nowadays as Network Specialist focused in LAN, WAN, WLAN, Network Monitoring, Datacenter and Security to big companies and mission-critical designs.
