Azure DNS Valuable Features

The solution allows you to host DNS service without using Azure's servers. The DNS is created inside a private zone on Azure which handles all management.

We do not need as much human effort to manage services because the solution is understandable, easy to use, and includes good automation features.

Queries are handled immediately by the DNS which broadcasts them and sends responses.

I've found all of the features to be valuable because we are using it extensively.

Moreover, Microsoft regularly notifies us about upcoming changes. They have a cycle of introducing features in preview mode before a global release, along with a specific timeline. This helps us stay well-informed.

The most valuable feature is definitely the private one because the public one is generic and you cannot do much modification whereas the private one, allows you to make your own entries.

Azure DNS is a straightforward application. We just have to create the entries. We can enter every domain and subdomain that can be a threat to us. The product has all the features. It has many records, such as A and CAA records. There is something called a CNAME record. When we type it, it gives the corresponding IP address. There are several ways to define the domains and subdomains.

The integration with other Azure services is good. The solution is part of the ecosystem, so it helps to integrate with other Azure services easily. The integration is seamless. The tool has security features. People cannot change things without proper authorization. The product has a domain-locking feature. It stops people from misusing the tool. The solution serves all our requirements.

Azure DNS is mainly focused on providing name resolution services. Its primary function is to ensure that domain names are correctly resolved to the corresponding IP addresses. As for the integration with other Azure services, it's tightly integrated like any other service within the Azure ecosystem.

One of the key benefits of Azure DNS is its integration with other Azure services. As it is a solution developed by Microsoft, it is easy to integrate with other Azure offerings. Azure DNS also includes Defender for DNS, a feature that protects against anomalies and threats on the DNS. This added security is provided directly by Microsoft. The integration and security features of Azure DNS make it a valuable option for users of the Azure cloud platform.

If you're running your enterprise application on Azure, it's convenient to use Azure DNS. It has native integration with other Azure solutions, and Microsoft is a globally recognized DNS provider. You also get CDN services. If you're a media company that requires on-demand data streaming, your DNS plays a vital role by working with CDN services to publish your application. It's cheaper and easier to expand your solution.

What I like about Azure DNS is that it doesn't have any issues and integrates quickly with other products. It has good integration, which is incredible.

I also like that whenever you deploy private links and endpoints, Azure DNS gives you the option to select the Azure native DNS, private DNS, or go with the Azure custom DNS. It depends, but if you don't have any dependencies on the DNS, then, like many customers, you won't have DNS issues.

Azure DNS is a very good solution that helps you with domains and other resources.
