"The solution's technical support is very good.""We get complete, hop-by-hop visibility into the internet and we can know how much latency is taking place from one hop to another. "The visibility and assistance with security vulnerabilities are valuable.""The solution is easy to deploy.""It is good for giving an overview of the systems and for tracking long-term trends. It is handy for root cause analysis, e.g. it can eliminate whether storage is the cause of an issue.""All our production clusters are in Cloud Insight. It provides a single pane of glass, giving us visibility into the environment, which allows us to understand if any issues are going on across any of our clusters.""Its ability to quickly inventory our resources, figure out interdependencies across them, and assemble a topology of your environment is brilliant. There is a price associated with it. Whenever you target a NetApp environment, it is included in the price but whenever you want to add different vendors, like VMware and Cisco, the price greatly spikes. "AppNeta by Broadcom needs to add more features to its dashboards. It also needs to work on providing out-of-the-box reports.""Instead of integrating with other people, they should expand their interior capabilities.""Cloud monitoring could be better. That's one of the biggest pain points for me. I have shared this feedback with them multiple times, but they're limited to some extent. That's one area where I've seen a problem.""I would like to see some advanced dashboard features. It could also be integrated with third-party tools. For example, an integration with a reporting solution would be helpful. Out-of-the-box, there are few dashboards or reports. What it does have is useful, but there should be additional dashboards.""I think some of the product's documentation has shortcomings and needs improvement.""They should try and make diagnostics run a bit quicker. When the problem occurs on a network, AppNeta runs automatic diagnostics on the end-to-end path. The path it was testing only to the destination, it now runs the same test to all of the devices and all the intermediate devices. Depending on the number of intermediate devices, it can take several minutes to run. If we're trying to find or diagnose a problem that only lasts two or three minutes, it may be that the diagnostics is still running by the time the problem is cleared. The only thing, which I have also mentioned to AppNeta in the past, is that there should be much faster and much more lightweight diagnostics, which can be completed within 30 seconds or one minute, rather than in 5 to 10 minutes.""Having to deal with configuring the end devices using a USB stick is a bit cumbersome. It would be nice if there was a better way of handling that."

"Most of the time, I initially connect with entry-level support, and then I need to request a higher-tier support level, which can result in delays.""The visualization needs some improvement because there are occasional delays while the system queries information.""When I did need support because I was having problems with the solution, the first or the second line just didn't understand it. They were providing this only on a software as a service basis. So, they were asking all the wrong questions.""The IP-based monitoring could be added in a future release.""The support is not very quick.""Cloud Insights could offer more detail when we drill down into the Azure environment.""The first level of NetApp's technical support could be improved.""In a perfect world we would have something built, right out-of-the-box, that can identify what we call "noise," and reduce the amount of data. You're presented with so much data when you first start the data collectors. For example, it brings back a lot of change rates that happen just because of standard computing, like profile changes and that sort of thing. Being able to identify things like that and categorize them and strip it down—and it probably can do that, I just haven't gotten there yet—would be very beneficial."

Once it comes up for renewal, we'll see what happens. Especially because now it is Broadcom, it is going to change anyway."

They've changed all that now, and everything the probe can do is a part of the base license."
