Pros
"The initial setup was very easy and user-friendly.""These switches are simple and easy to configure.""We use the solution for the network and ethernet connection.""It is very stable and reliable.""D-Link has a good VPN feature and quality of service.""The main selling point for me was the pricing. Moreover, the performance is good. I haven't had any issues so far.""There are many good points about this product. Number one, they are very stable, and easy to configure and manage.""The product is simple to manage."

"Juniper Ethernet Switches' best features are the high packer sorting and throughput, good uplink port capacity, and virtual setup.""Both Juniper and Cisco switches are interoperable.""One of the nicest things about Juniper switches is they work well with other vendor products. When you have to go into a situation where other vendor switches are present, you can make it work.""The combination of hardware and software makes it a very good solution. It is a modern protocol that they have supported in the switches. The solution has good performance.""The thing that sets Juniper apart from most switches is that when you're in the command line and you make a configuration change, you just write the command and then say "commit confirmed minutes". For example, I'm configuring a switch here in my office, which is five miles away, and I say, "commit confirmed 5". If I can't get back to the interface within five minutes to be able to make sure the switch came up, it rolls back to the previous configuration. This way I do not get locked out, or the switch doesn't get messed up because of the incorrect configuration. That's an automatic feature, which is pretty slick. I haven't seen that feature with other vendors that I've worked with. That's probably my most favorite feature.""The campus switches and access switches are the most valuable and simple to deploy for Virtual Chassis.""The scalability is excellent. It's one of the aspects of the solution that is quite good.""Juniper switches are smart and we have all the features that we want. You can rollback to the previous version if you make any mistake during configuration. This is not possible in Cisco."

Cons
"In a future release, the solution could improve by being more secure and allowing the configuration of each port.""It should be more stable, and it should have good integration with the cloud. It should support configuration, supervision, and control through the cloud.""The solution needs to improve layer 2 switches.""The solution could be cheaper.""The solution needs better local support.""The solution's web filtering feature could be improved.""There is room for improvement in terms of stability.""Its security features need improvement."

More D-Link Ethernet Switches Cons →

"The stability of this solution should be improved.""Juniper Ethernet Switches would be improved by upgrading the uplink port in EX2300 categories service from 10G to 25G.""EX switches take too long to boot when we restart them for maintenance. We need to minimize downtime. Another issue is the command line interface. Juniper's commands are different from other switches, so it's hard to remember them.""They could provide better security tools.""The durability of the devices could be better.""Their web GUI interface needs to be a lot better, especially when compared to HP. The command line is good, but you have to know how to get around it. The GUI is clunky and very slow.""The only issue that we have with Juniper Ethernet Switches is the firmware because it is not stable.""I would like the ability to operate with other operating systems."
