Pricing and Cost Advice
The chassis itself, with no blade server inside, so expensive. The C7000 model costs around $100,000.The price could be cheaper.Add OneView and ILO advanced to the base product. Don’t adjust the price, but just include them. The prices for the HPE Virtual Connect Modules are expensive compared to other I/O Modules available. With regards to the prices, they need to adapt to the current needs of the country.Their licensing program is pretty simple.

Overview
OverviewHP ProLiant BladeSystem share power, cooling, network, and storage infrastructure via the blade enclosure. Since equipment is not needed for each server, you get a dramatic reduction in power distribution units, power cables, LAN and SAN switches, connectors, adapters, and cables. And you can add the newest-generation technologies by simply changing individual components.

Oracle's Sun Blade 6048 Chassis helps you overcome the challenges causing pressure to your superscale HPC project:

  • The move to multicore processors is driving increasingly larger node sizes.
  • The ceiling of power and cooling resources.
  • The growing complexity of management.
  • The ongoing needs for expansion, repairs, and upgrades.

As the foundation of the Sun Blade 6048 modular system, this chassis is designed to support the latest I/O technologies and the most advanced rack-level cooling solutions.
