We performed a comparison between N-able N-sight Remote Monitoring & Management and TeamViewer Remote Management based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The solution provides an administration panel where we can see what is happening on our client's stations, such as events, alerts, and all the software installed."
"The details and the reports they provide are what I like, especially the details for almost the whole computer and the OS type."
"I like being able to get a picture of what's happening on a computer. I can just click on it, and I can see the CPU usage and the memory usage and what services and programs are currently running. I can connect remotely to a computer. All these are very useful."
"The solution is user-friendly."
"We like that this solution is in real-time, it gives us real-time monitoring."
"Remote support has been very handy. It also lets us know if there are failing hard drives or Windows issues."
"The network device is a good feature. In a place where you need to monitor your firewall switches, you can add an RMM tool and monitor it on the same screen on the same setup for the same client. Network devices are very good."
"The integrated backup and the scripting are good."
"It is a scalable solution...The initial setup of TeamViewer Remote Management was very simple."
"The most valuable feature is the ease of use. Using this solution enables us to get support easily."
"The remote access is most valuable."
"The product is very stable."
"The most valuable feature is the remote management capabilities."
"Transferring files and viewing data work well with TeamViewer Remote Management."
"It's stable and reliable."
"The stability seems to be pretty good so far."
"There are disconnection issues sometimes."
"The alerts and reporting could be done a little more clearly. They are quite cryptic, and quite often, we seem to get a lot of reports just for a computer rebooting or going offline for a couple of minutes, which doesn't seem like it's that big of a deal. Reporting could be refined and improved, and they can make it easy to decipher the reports."
"The SentinelOne integration is not great."
"There is quite a bit of delay on the portal where we receive monitoring information from the endpoint agent on the remote device. Sometimes it gets stuck with no live response from the device, and you have to refresh the portal just to make sure that it's projecting the right information."
"We haven't had it for very long, and we're finally getting comfortable with it. The biggest improvement probably would be a little more clarification. It has few exclamation points or attention-getters when there is a computer that doesn't have the up-to-date patches, etc. However, it's not specific in terms of what you need to do. Sometimes, it says it requires a reboot, and you reboot it, but the same message still shows up. Sometimes, the messages that it gives you about how to resolve an issue are not very easy to understand."
"I would like to see notifications sent with SMS."
"The reporting could be more customizable. RMM pulls a vast amount of data, but you need to filter through it to get a decent executive report each month. I'm pulling reports all day through the XML file and such to get the information our executive needs. They don't want a 34-megabyte Excel spreadsheet, but the overview only provides limited information, like a basic breakdown."
"The patch management of the solution could improve."
"The compatibility needs improvement in TeamViewer Remote Management because there's some incompatibility in some versions of the solution. Some solutions require the higher-performing version of TeamViewer Remote Management. Otherwise, there's incompatibility. The security provided by TeamViewer Remote Management in terms of data transfer also needs improvement. I'd like to see more features in the next release of TeamViewer Remote Management because it's still lacking in features. It would also be good for TeamViewer Remote Management to have a built-in remoting program similar to what Itarian has."
"Maybe TeamViewer could be improved with more scalability."
"One of the defects that I have noticed with TeamViewer Remote Management is that if I am on a certain version and the person to whom I am connected is not on the same version, then it does not connect at times until I update the solution."
"One feature to add would be a mobile remote feature."
"Integration with other tools would be great."
"Licensing has always been a concern, as it can be costly when we need simultaneous access for multiple users."
"The solution’s stability could be improved."
"I have contacted customer service and support a couple of times, but it was not good."
