Google Chrome Enterprise Valuable Features
Google Sheets and Google Docs are the most valuable features of the solution. You can make a document you want and share it with many people who can edit or comment on the same document. All documents can be stored centrally in Google Drive.

I love not having to deal with Exchange or other email servers. By large, Google emails are pretty easy to set up and keep running. With enterprise-level tools, you get a lot of useful troubleshooting and security stuff. There have been instances where we've had phishing and spear phishing attempts where once we found out about it, we could, like, literally, within a couple of minutes, remove that exact email from every single inbox of the users within a matter of minutes. As you can imagine, that's a wondrous tool to have because it's a lot more effective trying to tell a bunch of people not to open an email. Those are some of the main things I can think of, sort of, off the top of my head, besides, you know, you can use it for SSO. And sometimes, even user provisioning other stuff with a variety of services is also pretty handy.

The solution has so many features that it's hard to pick out just a couple. Again, I think having a user signed into their Google Workspace account and having the browser enrolled, then those functions can be managed through our Google admin console. Also, it is fantastic from a fleet management and user support aspect. The breadth and capability of the various extensions and plug-ins that are out there for Chrome to do additional things on top of just working in the browser are fantastic. At the end of the day, it is a browser that a lot of people seem to prefer considering that in our organization, we don't force people to use Chrome. We tell them that it's the browsers that we officially support, so if something doesn't work in a different browser, we ask them to try to do the same thing in Chrome. From over five hundred users, I have less than ten percent that seem to be using anything other than Chrome on a regular basis.

The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is relatively cheaper than other tools, and it allows me to store everything on a centralized platform.
View full review »Chrome functions as a comprehensive solution due to its continuous self-evaluation and improvement. The evolution process has been significant, with a notable distance covered from its inception to the present. Notably, features like VPN support have been incorporated over time, enhancing the platform's capabilities. A distinctive feature is that users don't even need to know the Wi-Fi password; upon signing into the machine, internet connectivity is established immediately. Furthermore, the cloud storage system ensures data isn't stored locally, making it seamless for users to switch between machines. In summary, Google Chrome Enterprise is an excellent solution, particularly when there's a shortage of available manpower.

This solution is user-friendly with security features detecting if there is suspicious activity on the browser. There is a lot of extensions we can use to provide us with good coverage.
Your account can be shared with multiple devices to allow you access to all of your saved data, this is useful if you move from one device to another.

I really like the fact that Chrome OS is super secure, easy to manage, and so forth.
It's portable and inexpensive.
Chrome Enterprise is really easy to deploy and manage.
One of the beauties of something like Chrome OS is that, on the data lake side and on the cloud side, everything is web-based. You're looking at web APIs. It makes it easy to get to any dashboards or any systems without having to have any specialized software. A plus for a Chrome OS is the cloud-type operating system.
