It's stable. It's stable for ages. I don't see the need to upgrade unless the customer wants new features or Juniper recommended for an upgrade.

There are so many releases. I was even using a tail release myself before advising customer , and it was stable. Even though they are end-of-life, So, the MX series is stable. Many customers are still running it, even legacy versions.

The MX series offers flexibility. You can automate, configure manually, or do whatever makes your engineers' lives easier.

I haven't faced any major issues myself. The main issues I've seen have been customer configuration issues. Sometimes, customers don't upgrade their hardware when necessary for certain features.

Other times, customers configure things incorrectly. For instance, I might ask the customers to configure something for DevOps, but they forget to disable it. I even try to remind them in emails, but they still forget. That's when they start experiencing issues. Otherwise, there are no problems with the console.

The solution has been stable and reliable. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. It also never fails. We've never had a catastrophic freeze or fail. When we do have issues with it, it degrades gradually. It doesn't just suddenly freeze or something like that.

Juniper Enterprise Routers we have not had any major problems. However, we did have some problems but it has a backup router engine, and it did not affect our traffic and service.

Juniper MX Series Routers have been mostly stable, but we have encountered occasional performance issues and downtime, mainly related to hardware issues. It is a common challenge faced by any vendor. I would rate the stability as an eight out of ten.

These switches are very stable. I have some customers in banking and other industries in the Arab Gulf areas like the UAE, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia who have been running for more than ten years. Some of the devices need to be phased out, but they are still in production and stable.

As with any other product, you might find bugs. However, it is acceptable and can happen with any vendor. This is one of the crucial areas with Juniper because if you have OneTouch Service, the updates and bulletins are available.

In terms of stability, this is one of the best solutions that I have ever seen. In the Arab Gulf areas like Dubai, we have some deployments that are more than ten years old and they are still stable. They should be phased out, but they are still in production and stable.

It is possible that you might find some bugs, but this happens in any product. I would say this is one of the crucial areas, but if you have the OneTouch service with Juniper then you will receive the bulletins and updates for bug fixes.
